About
As an attorney, I am committed to treating my clients with respect and compassion while assisting them in resolving both the immediate and long-term issues they face. I value communication, collaboration and teamwork, which are often the necessary ingredients to obtaining the results my clients desire. As a community member, I am passionate about being a leader who initiates and develops opportunities to enhance the vibrancy of our community. I am drawn toward working with individuals on both ends of the age spectrum, from increasing availability of extracurricular opportunities for junior and high school students to coordinating county-wide senior services. In my personal time, I am an avid athlete when the weather is good and book lover when I have to stay indoors. I have a wonderful husband and climbing partner, Michael, who dares me to be a better person and professional every day.

I had a consultation with Taylor initially and found her to be concise, thorough and able to distill a complicated issue down to the main elements—comprehending the issue(s) and outline the strategies to go about solving the legal problem. It was helpful and I felt like I had a fair experience in what can(/could have been) be an expensive billing process.
We hired Taylor Kittell for help with estate planning and she was terrific. We paid a flat fee, which meant that she didn't benefit from spending extra time with us. Nevertheless, she explained our options to us thoroughly and with great patience and she was quick to respond to follow-up questions or concerns. The legal assistants were also lovely. We also had time pressures because my husband was in town for only a short period and Taylor was able to expedite the process and get everything done before he left. All in all, a great experience.
My wife and I hired Taylor for estate planning. She made every effort to understand what was important to us and then to give us choices that supported our values, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each and making recommendations wherever appropriate to meet our goals. Taylor was able to translate the legal complexities into decision points that captured the heart of the provisions.
Be poised for your future One of the gifts you can give/leave to your family is the gift of being poised for whatever the future brings. I recently had the pleasure of working with Taylor on my estate planning. Taylor performed with great care and completeness! She is an amazing educator and extremely thoughtful with recommendations! Working with Taylor has given me peace of mind. The right plan is now in place for the future! Thank you, Taylor, for your kind words, professionalism, humor and support!
Taylor helped us with family law, more specifically with Estate planning. She conducted business in a professional manner by employing clear communication and providing documents and updates quickly and effectively. She listened to our concerns and adapted to our needs. Her office was organized and she provided the proper "education" to us when needed so that we would understand the documents being prepared.
I met with Taylor shortly after my husband passed. She reviewed his will and created a new will for me. Her professionalism, compassion, and knowledge was amazing and so appreciated during an extremely difficult time in my life. I would recommend her to anyone!
It seems more and more it is harder to find people truly willing to help, people who go above and beyond what is expected and who actually care. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who could top Taylor in her gift to get the job done with the utmost integrity, intelligence and compassion. I thought I would never have to rely on an attorney in this lifetime. Sadly, I found myself having to do that more than once recently. Gratefully, a friend had told me about Taylor. Taylor helped me to make the best possible choices for myself, which would ultimately be good decisions for all people involved. She helped give me a voice, when I didn't know how to put my feelings into words. She was able to help me communicate with others during very emotional and confusing times, so that I was able to move forward with a greater sense of ease. Being in a place in your life where you need to rely on an attorney usually means you are in a position that brings up big and often unpleasant emotions. To have someone strong and knowledgeable with an admirable moral compass makes that experience much more easy to navigate. Taylor Kittell has been an incredible blessing in my life. I am forever grateful to her for helping to make some of the worst experiences of my life go more smoothly than I could have imagined.
Taylor has worked with me twice on my living trust and estate planning (both before and after my divorce), and each time she was exemplary in every way: professional and pleasant; clear in her presentations and in reflecting back what she had heard; very attentive to details while maintaining a clear view of the "big picture"; and remaining in close communication throughout the process. In addition, Taylor helped guide my aging parents through the creation of a new living trust, and they absolutely loved working with her. She was, in addition to sharing her expertise, always conscientious and compassionate. Our entire family greatly appreciated and valued her service. Lawyers sometimes get a bad rap (often, in my view, unfairly), but I cannot imagine any person having a negative experience working with Taylor. She is a credit to the profession and would be a pleasure to work with in any capacity. She is, in my opinion, one of the best!
