 Tara Faenza is an aggressive and tenacious attorney representing clients throughout Florida, from Orlando to the Florida Keys, Ms. Faenza focuses her practice in representing insurance companies, businsses, and employers in a variety of employment-related disputes. Ms. Faenza represents clients for prelitigation matters from negotiating employment agreements, severance and settlement agreements, EEOC/FCHR defense, and lawsuits.  Ms. Faenza's work focuses in general business and liability cases. A former Miami Dade County Prosecutor, Ms. Faenza completed twenty (20) jury trials and more than thirty (30) bench trials (before a judge only). Ms. Faenza has argued successfully before the 3rd District Court of appeals and is an experienced litigator in Federal and State courts, trial and appellate level. Ms. Faenza was selected as a SuperLawyer's Rising Star her first year in private practice, in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Ms. Faenza was also awarded the Florida Legal Elite Award in 2018.Ms. Faenza graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was selected as student commencement speaker at graduation, an honor awarded to a student with an excellent academic record and strong public speaking skills. During law school, Ms. Faenza also earned the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement award, given to the top student, in alternative dispute resolution and received honors in Litigation Skills courses. She was selected by the prestigious law firm of Constangy, Brooks, & Smith, LLP as their Diversity Scholars Award winner for the Southern Region, in 2012. Ms. Faenza served as President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association in 2011-2012. She earned a spot on the University of Miami Trial Team from 2011-2013, where she earned top scores: FJA Hon. E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition, 11/2012, Semi-finalist (Top 4 Team). Nova Closing Argument Competition, Semifinalist 2011 & 2012. Ms. Faenza participated and completed study in Europe for International Human Rights and International Sales and through the Leipzig-Miami Seminar, in cooperation with the University of Leipzig, Germany. Ms. Faenza also earned an additional specialized Employment, Labor and Immigration Certificate
