We're planning to sell a cottage and needed a real estate attorney. My husband found an advertisement in our local newspaper & when we were talking to our real estate agent, she recommended Tammy. Since she has property at our lake, we felt very comfortable talking to her about our issues. She is just wonderful, easy to talk to, very pleasant & we are very proud to have her as our real estate attorney. We only wish we could have met her years ago, instead of just recently, because as far as we are concerned, she's the best one, yet! Not only did we hire her for this transaction, but if we ever need an attorney for other issues, she will now be the one we will be consulting with.

In December 2018, I found myself in an overwhelming situation that required legal advice asap. My brother had suffered a mild stroke. Not knowing what was happening to him, he began to act out in ways that terrified his neighbors. The police became involved and he was taken to a hospital for examination. A social worker from the hospital called me to ask about my brother, his age, habits, etc. He was admitted to their care but they knew nothing about him; he didn't have any i.d. on him and he didn't remember what had happened. I didn't know either. The police filled me in as to what my brother had been through in the last week. I can't share the details but it was obvious that he would not be able to care for himself for a while. I was happy that he was safe and being cared for but I knew that I'd have to make some heavy decisions for him. I was the only family member he trusted and his behavior had scared away his friends. Adding to the stress, we were finally going to obtain the money from our family's trust fund that we had been fighting to obtain for over 2 years. The day my brother entered the hospital was the day the trust lawyer (not Tammy) finally called to advise that she was ready to disburse the trust money to us, but she couldn't reach my brother. I advised her of the situation which caused her to stop the disbursement until she contacted my brother to assess the situation. When my brother advised me that this lawyer had visited him at the hospital and made him sign papers, I flipped! He didn't know what he signed! She was attempting to appoint herself as his conservator out of concern for his well-being, she told me. This from a lawyer that we were unable to reach by phone, e-mail or visits to her office for 2 years! There was always an excuse for her absence. In full panic mode I reached out to a local law office that I had driven by numerous times. That office is LeFoll &LeFoll. It was late in the day but I was able to speak to a caring woman named Debby Clare who listened to my story for over a half hour and put me in touch with John Locus, the attorney that was in the office. Attorney Locus assured me that he would look into the situation. Tammy LeFoll was out on sick leave at the time. We met after the holidays. I was immediately impressed by Attorney LeFoll's professionalism and passion. She had been filled in about my case by Attorney Locus and assured me that things would turn out okay. I believed her. Within 2 months, all of the probate issues were resolved. I was appointed sole conservator for my brother, our money was acquired and placed in accounts with a financial firm for my brother and I (my sister lives out of state and had her own attorney). My brother is in an assisted living facility and is doing very well. We are working with the medical staff there to prepare my brother to once again live on his own. Tammy is helping me with my concerns on this issue, also. Overall, I am thrilled with how things have turned out. I would recommend this law office and Tammy LeFoll to anyone who needs legal advice. The entire staff is impressive, truly caring and professional.

Tammy LeFoll has been my attorney for over 25 years - she first represented me in the adoption of my son in the 1990s, and has since handled real estate closings, advised me on various matters and also represented me as Executrix in a very complicated estate - which included defending several litigation matters brought on by a disgruntled beneficiary. I have referred many people to her for representation. Tammy is also very available - I speak with her personally when I call in, and she returns my calls or emails promptly if I leave a message off hours. She is also truly a wonderful, caring individual and I absolutely trust her wisdom and advice.

It is nice to have a family lawyer who has helped us in many different areas. We have used Tammy and Ray for real estate closings, wills/powers of attorney and when myself or my kids have been injured in car accidents. I have gotten peace of mind from such things as a returned phone call to handling a transaction or an injury case- professionally, with no drama and by charging very fair fees. Tammy is practical, professional and comfortable to work with.

We contacted Tammy 3 years ago to help us with the sale of our business to a family member. The sale went quite smoothly and professionally. We also had her make new modifications to our existing wills at the same time. We would recommend Tammy Lefoll quite highly. We have also consulted with her on other subjects and she has been able to offer us guidance when it was needed. A superior attorney and law firm.
