I was referred to Ms. Johnson from my legal benefits and was somewhat hesitant on actually proceeding with the process. After talking with Ms. Johnson about my case, my fears, and worries, I was put at ease and knew she was right for the task. This was my first divorce but it was quick painless and everything worked out as I had hoped they would. Ms. Johnson was honest, sincere, and knowledgeable which made this process very seamless. If I had to choose again I wouldn't hesitate to request her services.
i was in distress about going thru a divorce... Suzanna help me soo much... no pain ... no heartaches.... just easy roadway... thank you soo much again Suzanna... for such GREAT HELP!!!!!
Ms. Johnson was terrific! Thank you so much for all you have done for my family. She is very professional and courteous. I highly recommend her and would hire her services again.
When I had first hired Ms. Johnson my case was already in motion. Due to a financial hardship I had lost almost everything except hope. After hiring Ms. Johnson that hope turned into results that made an ugly process less ugly. Her professionalism and tactfulness allowed for both parties to settle outside of court. At times of distress in the direction, Ms. Johnson always took the time to answer any question or clarify any concerns.
Ms. Johnson handled a child support issue for me. She respected my request to handle the situation in a manner which kept us out of court. She communicated with me anytime there was information that I would need and was thoughtful whenever something sensitive was exchanged. I felt confident that she was always working for my best interest.
Ms. Johnson was referred to me by a friend, she is knowledgeable and was diligent when handling my case. I believe she went above & beyond for me. She was personable and kept me feeling calm and comfortable through the whole process. I will definitely hire her again if ever needed.
She is a fantastic lawyer! Every email or phone call I made to her was returned within hours. I never had to wait for a response. Everything about my case and the process was explained in great detail. I was never in the dark.
Ms Johnson is very attentive to her clients. She has a very professional aire with her. If you choose her to represent you there will be no disappointment.
She was very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend her to anyone. Stay away.
BEWARE!!! Inexperienced In Family Law. READ HER RETAINER AGREEMENT!! DO NOT SIGN!!! I am a 52yo father, permanently 100% disabled, due to breaking my neck. My disability income is about $1100 a mo. I have been the stay at home parent and primary care provider of my children, since their birth. My spouses income was approximately $5200 a mo. Let me start by pointing out, I noticed Ms. Johnsons limited number of reviews and their subject matter. All reviews seem to be child support related. Child support is a very simple matter controlled by very clear statutes that are virtually not open for argument. Support matters are easily dealt with in family court, with all forms and instructions provided by the courts. I handled the bulk of my case Pro Se’ (on my own), before retaining Ms. Johnson to convince the court, the opposition was not complying with mandatory discovery. I soon found out that Ms. Johnson has only been practicing Family Law for just under a year (she was previously a bank atty). After three months and $6000 of Ms. Johnson not securing mandatory discovery and her only attendance of a hearing, in my case (“Motion for Attorney Fees”), Ms. Johnson charged me approximately $3k to secure a $1500 atty fee award, from my spouse that makes 5 times my income. Ms. Johnson NEVER argued for a temporary parenting plan, child support or spousal support, on my behalf. Ms. Johnson’s actions were 100% self serving, as she filed a Motion to Withdraw, immediately upon finding out the court didn’t award her substantial atty fees. If that wasn’t enough, simultaneously Ms. Johnson, without consulting me, unilaterally cancelled my hearing to Compel Mandatory Discovery, from my spouse, after my having waited mos for said hearing to compel, forcing me to pay another atty to request discovery all over again, further delaying my case. I asked Ms. Johnson to provide me with correspondence leading up to cancellation of my hearing and she refused to provide it. (It is my belief, she refused to provide correspondence as it would expose her to a Florida Bar Inquiry and possible sanctions for unethical practice). “SHE FURTHER SHOWS HER CHARACTER” Ms. Johnson was completely aware, my spouse quietly stopped paying our mortgage, forcing my children’s home into foreclosure, leaving me faced with trying to negotiate the refinance of my mortgage or be put on the streets with my children. After Ms. Johnsons withdraw, before my case is even over and the court decides on who is responsible for atty fees, Ms. Johnson filed a Motion for a Charging lien, against myself and my property. Although she improperly brought her motion before the court 4 times (due to her lack of procedural knowledge), the court allowed her motion to be heard on her 4th try. Ms. Johnson secured the highest award in my case, to date, FOR HERSELF. Ms. Johnson secured a lien against myself and my property that will ultimately make it impossible for me to save (refinance) the only home my children have known. MS. JOHNSON NEVER AGRGUED, EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION, CUSTODY OR SUPPORT MATTERS. SHE ONLY, INEFFECTIVELY ARGUED FOR ATTY FEES FOR HERSELF, then securing a lien that insured I would lose my family home. Ms. Johnson has charged me for preparing needless pleadings, she billed me almost 2hrs to scan and send about a 20 page pdf document to the court, refuses to return a transcript that I personally provided her and charged me approximately $300 to withdraw from my case. This being the same woman that claims to do Pro bono charity work for Saint Michaels. My current attorney has represented me for the better part of a year and has charged me about half as much as Ms. Johnson has charged for 3mos representation. Every statement I have made as a matter of fact can be supported by the record…
