Susan A. Whaley-Brady law firm is a local, very experienced, and respected firm. After consulting with this law firm, we were treated with respect and knowledge of the court system which gave us the confidence in court. But more than the knowledge that this firm possesses, Susan and her staff have compassion and integrity for families. You can see this in their work. Their compassion made hiring them all the better. Bethany, thank you from the bottom of our hearts what you did for our family. If anyone needs a recommendation, I would recommend this firm.
I would not choose any other attorney to handle a complex case like mine. My case involved a lot of assets and my children. Susan gave great advise and fought for me. Sue was truly my advocate. Plus, there is ALWAYS someone at her office, unlike at other offices. The staff was very friendly and always happy to help.
I did a skype appointment with Sue. It was pretty great, I did the whole thing from my car. She seemed knowledgeable and gave me practical advice. I ended up not filing but if i had, she'd be who I'd want.
Susan fought for me. She listened to every issue I had on the case. I never felt dumb asking questions. She made sure I knew what was going on and always called me back. I got everything I wanted out of the case.. now I know why they call her a shark in court. She really is the best.
Susan Whaley-Brady was my Divorce Attorney. She was kind, understanding, professional, and was always there when I needed her. She handled my case very efficiently, and I found her always to be trustworthy and on top of my case. She listened, and was more than proficient in readily responding to my needs. I was very pleased at the outcome of my Divorce, as difficult and emotional as they are. I recommend Susan Whaley-Brady to anyone, regardless of the issue(s) at hand.
Started out with a strong defense telling me everything that I wanted to hear midway through the divorce was told that things are not looking so good and then switched attorneys at the last court hearing which caused confusion and finally agreeing to a settlement I did not feel comfortable with then was told that they do not do friend of court negotiations that I would have to hire a Nother attorney at their firm and pay another retainer fee only after their fee for the divorce was paid in full !
Starts of strong but does not follow through. I had to called to find out where my case was at after both parties had agreed on the judgment. Their answer was "Isn't that already filed?" Did not keep me informed of what was happening in the case and when I would call (and get charged for it) I would not get a response back. Actually got laughed at for telling them there was no point to leave a message I would not get a call back anyway.
She was unprepared and didn't have her documentation. She was terrible at following through-- all talk. When it came down to the trial she really dropped the ball. She doesn't return phone calls or emails. However, she will keep billing you right on time. Such a heartbreaking experience. I would never recommend her as a divorce lawyer.
Paid her to do my divorce, she charged me more than $ 3000 and then dropped my case two days before my final hearing, and I was screwed by my ex's attorney. She continues to bill me even after dropping me for forwarding me mail from the courts.
Hired this firm to represent me on a divorce. They quit 2 days before trial and billed me $7000 which included their cancellations of dates. Would never recommend them
