Avery of the Allen County Superior Court, Civil Division. He is an Associate practicing in the areas of civil litigation, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, commercial litigation, appellate law, and creditor’s rights. Andrew’s background as a writer is equaled by his considerable experience in the courtroom and in a litigation setting. He contributes to jury trials, conducts bench trials, and participates in all phases of pretrial activity. His ability to analyze complex legal issues coupled with his practical experience provide him with a unique ability to evaluate the intricate issues facing his clients and implement an effective resolution strategy.Born in Mentor, Ohio, Andrew holds a bachelor degree in political science from the University of Akron and received his J.D., cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law. He finds an outlet for his passion for writing by contributing to various publications, writing articles and notes often on cutting-edge and unresolved legal topics. He also enjoys serving as a mentor to new lawyers and law students and currently is an attorney mentor for Indiana Tech Law School. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys running, cycling, playing recreational hockey, and spending time with his wife, Meredith.
