Attorney Jacob L. Geiermann has over six years of estate planning and trust and estate administration experience. Jacob was born and raised in Bismarck, and obtained his accounting and law degrees from the University of North Dakota.Collaborating with our firm’s attorneys and staff, Jacob strives to understand each client’s unique needs. Jacob provides estate planning and tax planning services to individuals and business owners, with an emphasis on their family, community, and philanthropic goals. Jacob regularly represents personal representatives and trustees after the loss of a loved one, and helps to administer trusts and estates in the most efficient manner possible.Jacob is active in the professional community, is a frequent speaker on trust and estate topics, and serves in leadership roles with national and regional nonprofits. Jacob has experience as a lobbyist, has drafted legislation, and advocates for improvements to trust and estate laws in North Dakota and Minnesota.Jacob currently serves as a Fellow with the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Red River Valley Estate Planning Council. Jacob was also named a Super Lawyers Great Plains Rising Star in 2018 and 2019. Jacob is licensed to practice law in North Dakota, Minnesota, and before the United States Tax Court.
