Susan is personable and professional. She really takes the time to listen and gives exceptional legal advice. With my situation, her advice led me not to take legal action, when doing so would have benefited Leslie financially.
My father has neglected and abandoned myself and my siblings for more than 15 years. I only want to manage and be loyal to those who chose to have me in their life. I want to remember them and leave those who haven't wanted a life with their children out of their life like they have us
My husband and I hired Susan for a custody situation we were facing. At all points along the way, we found Susan to be knowledgeable in all facets of the law pertaining to our situation. Despite the fact that we know Susan had multiple cases at the time, we always felt as though she was working solely with us. We could say Susan "acted" as though she cared about us and our situation, but the truth is, we honestly believe she truly does care about her clients - with Susan, it is not an act; she has a vested interest in her clients. We cannot say enough good things about Susan. If you are in need of a lawyer for a custody situation, and you want a knowledgeable, hard working, caring, and fiscally responsible attorney, we highly recommend Susan.
For several reasons at the time, I neglected to submit a review for Ms. Fraser and until now, when seeking her advice for another service it just occurred to me. I had previously consulted Ms. Fraser for representation in a divorce case in which there were two school age kids involved and in which I was the person being divorced by an adulterous spouse. To the point - that adultery, purposely was not revealed and was not necessary in the litigation for Ms. Fraser to provide me with a fully satisfactory result to this case, that ended with my possession of the kids as well as a partial support provided for them from the divorcer until they were out of school at legal ages. I have only the highest regard for Ms. Fraser and her awesome legal expertise.
Ms. Fraser put me at ease with her quick understanding of my situation and confidence in answering my questions. There was no hesitation in her knowledge or response, and yet, she also delivered information in a kind and concerned manner. She spent a good amount of time walking me through various options, and steered me away from spending money if it wasn't likely to offer me a positive outcome. She far exceeded my expectations and I am truly grateful for her time and expertise.
I had the pleasure of working with Susan during my divorce. She is very knowledgeable in her field and I would say she works hard to get you what you deserve. I highly recommend her and wouldn't hesitate to call her again for other legal issues. Thanks Susan again for all your hard work.
She was great! My husband was going to court for more time with his son, most of it was worked out in mediation but not everything was worked out and he was going to court to get the rest figured out. I wished we would have found her sooner, we were kind of last minute so she was booked up and helped prep my husband for court. She was really caring and gave great advice. Unfortunately we found out the hard way that going without an attorney wasn’t the best idea as the case was dropped by the judge so they can work it out themselves which of course isn’t working out. We will reach out to her if he ever does need to go back.
I hired Susan in January of 2017. At that time I had recently faced false accusations of domestic violence toward my teenage son. These accusations were made by my ex wife. My ex wife was able to get sole custody of my 17 y/o son (his choice), and was attempting to gain sole custody of our 10 y/o daughter. My previous attorney had given up all hope of winning this case even after the preliminary protective order was dismissed/denied. That's when I hired Susan to fight on my behalf. She immediately went to work filing the appropriate paperwork, speaking to O/C and the GAL. Susan always made time to meet with me, and kept me updated on everything that pertained to my case. I felt that Susan genuinely cared for me, my wife, and my children. In the end Susan was able to force my ex wife and her attorney into a stalemate over custody and visitation. I kept custody and visitation of my 10 y/o daughter. We did end up going to court over child support issues. Susan worked hard, and was able to find omissions and "errors" with my ex wife's financial disclosures. I didn't get everything I wanted at the conclusion of my trial, but I was pleased with the outcome. Without Susan I probably would have lost both of my children at the hands of my ex wife and her attorney. I would highly recommend Susan to anyone, especially to divorced fathers who need a voice and an advocate inside and out of the court room.
Ms. Fraser called me promptly regarding my questions on spousal support. She asked concise questions and rapidly gained an understanding of my situation. She was able to provide some excellent insights and advice for both the short and mid term. Further, she offered to review my divorce decree to validate that her advice was in sync with the wording of the decree. I was impressed with my conversation and I'm glad I spoke with her.
Susan was knowable and compassionate when I explained my situation with me not being able to see my grandmother. I meant knowledgeable. I not even allowed a phone conversation, anyway she was upfront about possible fees all around just for retaining any legal counsel. The last time that I talk with my grandmother was early spring, and I told her that I was going to come see her.She was crying and said "really Laurie", and I said yes. When I got to va. a good 12 hours away, my sister in law told my brother that I was not welcome in their house to see her. My crime, I found out about another sibling. They did not want her to find out, because my sister in law would have to deal with the fallout of not only finding out about a new grandson, but grandma missing me! She is 94and I know that I running out of time! If you are a praying person and reading this please say one for me..TIA!Anyway if I had the resources,I would certainly want to have Susan on my side!
