This is the kind of attorney you want. She is a mother who cares about children. Knowledgeable, smart, and very professional. She never leaves your side no matter how little chance you have. I used her for divorce but I used her for real estate too.

Susan and her team worked with me to make great choices, negotiated and protected me and my family's best interest against all odds and always with a smile! She prides herself in knows her clients and their family as if we truly were her own family. She is always very positive and strives towards working for win/win situations and helped me make the best choices with a very challenging situation while being very strategic in her forethought to take care of our short and long term challenges always planning many moves ahead. She is a perfect mix of being aggressive and not afraid of a challenge yet her compassionate and calm nature puts you at peace and this calm is felt even as you enter the court room with her. She is the first one to say pick your battles, not because she has better things to do, but because sometimes we need someone to protect us from ourselves, especially when emotions run high and I greatly appreciate that heart and dedication. After meeting with Susan I knew I would never hire anyone else to fight for the best interest of my son and our family. Highly qualified and always striving above and beyond with such heart, I am thankful everyday for all Susan has done!

If I could leave 6 stars in this review, I would. Susan has represented me in a high conflict custody battle for several years. Susan was the second attorney I hired for my case; she was able to fix the mess made by my first attorney. Susan has responded to repeated motions from my ex with efficiency and expertise. Susan met me on the weekends and after hours to prep for the two trials brought forth by my ex and I came out of the trials with solid orders that have brought more stability to my situation to which I attribute to Susan's knowledge and experience. We essentially "won" both trials. Susan is highly knowledgeable of the law and the judges which is an invaluable asset when going through the court system. Susan has also been available to touch base on issues as they arise after my last trial, responding quickly and always advising me honestly, telling me risks and benefits to pursuing motions, contempts, etc. Susan truly cares about her clients and their children. Susan's paralegal Ela is extremely efficient and is invaluable to Susan's team as well. Susan has guided me through this very difficult process and am very thankful to work with her. I highly recommend Susan.

Susan and her team really helped my situation with my partner. She is highly skilled and dedicated to her clients and in her profession. She really cared for my situation and fought hard on my behalf. Susan did a good job of advocating for me and my situation. I am so grateful for her hard work and professionalism. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to defend them in their case.

I wish I hired Susan three years earlier when I abruptly lost contact with my younger daughter. I had hired an attorney to work on resuming contact when this all started. Unfortunately, the attorney I hired failed to understand the complexities of parental alienation and the situation deteriorated. I hired Susan after consulting with an expert in the field of parental alienation. The expert recommended Susan since she had a grasp of both the legal and psychological issues around parental alienation. This knowledge was extremely helpful in developing the appropriate parenting plan while being firm with the opposing side. I strongly recommend Susan as a result.

After working with Susan for 4 years (my ex never quits), I feel that she is sharp, communicative, and a killer in the courtroom. Susan understands the law, knows all the judges (and frequently the opposing counsel), strategizes, presents you with options, and then executes. I'm not sure what happened with the 1-star reviewer but the review doesn't seem right to me. More than once Susan has cut her fees to help with the cost of a 4+ year divorce. I can't imagine her providing poor service and then charging for it.

I would recommend Susan for any area of law that she would be willing to take on. She is a no nonsense lawyer and gets the job done. I was not married and had two children. In Mass, apparently, the fathers do not get any rights to their children without being married or going to court to get them so I had an uphill battle for years. This includes three years of constant court hearings, trials, contempts, and so on. I met Susan by chance and decided to give her a shot representing me because I had already been going through this process for years and was not happy with the results so far. Susan, within six months, changed the whole case around and got myself a judgment of Full Custody. I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire Susan. I have been forced to hire/deal with many lawyers in the last few years and I did not feel like any of them were completely on my side and some were unwilling to fight for what I knew was right. Susan, on the other hand, always made me feel like she not only understood my position but that she was on the same page with me about what needed to happen. She not once tried to pressure me into making an agreement that I didn't feel good about which, in my experience, is rare to find in a lawyer. How could you trust a lawyer to truly fight for your cause and what you believe is right if they don't believe it themselves? Anybody that is having custody/divorce disputes, I highly recommend you hire this Susan. I also have to say, compared to other lawyers, her price was very good for what she got done.

I have been with Susan for 3 years now. She is my second attorney. My first Attorney was more concerned about getting money from me rather than focusing on getting the case done! Susan has since taken my case with my best interest at heart. She does not have to play dirty as I have seen other do as she knows her stuff. My case has been settled but there are always circumstances which occur after the trial, etc... Susan has the patience of a saint! Some things I have learned which everyone needing an attorney should know. 1. The judge can drag out a case to a ridiculous amount of time. This is NOT the fault of the attorney. So be prepared for a LONG battle. 2. ALL attorneys will require a retainer . This is standard practice among any fine attorney. 3. Jut when you think your case is done, your X will always do something stupid (unless you are lucky) and you may be back in court again. Keep a good log of all important incidences as it will help your attorney.

I have worked closely with Mrs. Champa for the past three years while my divorce case was active. I have found her to always take the time needed to with meet to discuss my then case, as well as to work with me regarding the best interests of my children. As a result of our case being discussed in an open court, several people approached Mrs. Champa to request her business card. Her demeanor is stern yet very professional. I felt comfortable sharing the details of my case with her. Being faced with slanderous comments from my ex, Mrs. Champa took lawyers straight on. As a result, the impending restraining order was dropped against me. Her efforts helped me to receive joint physical custody of my children. I highly recommend Mrs. Champa's services to any prospective client.
