My case is probably one of the most complicated cases with over 130 (I lost count around 130) appearances before our judge in 5 years due to frivolous litigation from the opposing side with numerous counsel representing the other side. She hired the right support professionals (mediator, custodial evaluator, etc.) in the beginning to provide necessary reports. I thought it was very time-consuming and seemed to take forever, but I’ve learned that is how all cases go. It is very emotionally draining. I made the mistake of trying to save money and going to two other attorneys who completely derailed my case before I went back to Su who put it back on track. Going to other attorneys was a mistake and cost me way more than if I had stayed with Su all along. Moving forward, Su helped me save money by scheduling calls to go over issues rather than giving in to my early emotional contacts that could rack up the bill. She played the long game - the marathon - and helped me understand that these matters are not a sprint.
