Our choices were explained very clearly. Once we made our decision we were told exactly what was required from us. If we ever had a question we were always able to get a hold of the person putting our case together.
I hired him because he seemed organized and made wonderful promises. That was up to the point he got my $4500 retainer. After that, he was so sloppy in appearance and unprofessional in handling sensitive information. He gave me poor advice regarding a divorce, that even I without legal training knew was not a good idea. Steve Simasko did not have my best interest in mind. I felt he was working for my spouse! On top of which he lost two important documents. Skip this guy.
I hired Steven Simasko for my divorce. The only thing he did for my case was provide me with a checklist of the things the judge would be looking at. I compiled all the data and did all the research. When we finally went to trial he and the other lawyer went to deliberate and Simasko proposed several things which I had made clear from the start that I was against. He did not listen to my wants nor was he sensitive about the difficulty in the case.
