I faced serious felony charges on a highly sensitive case for which I was absolutely innocent. So after facing vindictive prosecutors, unethical law enforcement, and a corrupt judicial system, I turned to Attorney Steve Greenberg. He fought the case every step of the way and never cared what the opposing side thought. He was a fierce legal advocate in the courtroom for me and has an keen awareness of criminal statutes and constitutional law. Steve wanted to take my case to trial and was very sure I would be absolved of all the charges. However, due to extremely difficult circumstances in my life, I decided to accept a misdemeanor plea. Steve ensured that the plea was fair and that all felony charges were dismissed. The case ended in a sentence of probation, and Steve has vowed to help me fight any probation issues that will arise. My family and I thank Steve for all his work and would certainly recommend him to anyone facing criminal charges in the Cook County courts.

My father and I met with Mr. Greenberg for consultation on my case. My case is a very sensitive one that scares most attorneys away or causes them to denigrate your character and human spirit. Attorney Greenberg was different; he firmly reviewed every aspect of my case and the charges I faced. He provided sound legal advice and firmly believed in my innocence. Mr. Greenberg is very thorough and pays attention to every detail of a case and the relevant law. He came extremely highly recommend from others in the legal community, and I now know why. He is passionate about defending people and presenting a firm defense, even against the most sensitive charges like sexual abuse of a child and battery. I would highly recommend Attorney Greenberg to anyone who needs a criminal defense attorney or needs to appeal an adverse verdict. Thank you so much for the time you took to meet with us, Steve. You're a wonderful attorney!

Steve's utmost professionalism and his reliability answering all phone calls, text messages, emails were far beyond what I expected. In the court room, you'll never see him without his confident smile. Just know, when you are facing a felony charge in cook county, Steve is the answer. When one client of Steve's is called in front of the judge, expect your name to be called next-- Steve is the Go-to guy! He has priority in cook county, and his personality is like one of a friend's. He doesn't treat you like another client, I love Steve. He saved my life, and my career. Thank you so much Steve. I hold Steve in the highest regard and you can too. Remember - this is the guy that's been on the media for years, and it's for a reason. He is well known for his legal analytical skills and he is always winning cases. He is reasonable in pricing, and well-liked by judges and opposing counsel. You need Steve on your side. Take my advice and hire him. He will take care of you, just like he did for me. My mom was very happy with his results and we walked out of court with smiles. Reliable, dedicated, available, result-oriented, and most of all - Great lawyers like Steve doesn't have their clients wonder aimlessly and call him asking what's going to happen in court ---- Steve makes their phone ring weeks before court with an update, just like he did to me. Steve Greenberg represents loyalty and confidence. I don't ever want to be back in Maywood Courthouse -- period, this was an experience I am glad Steve was there to back me up and he delivered unbelievable results. Thank You Steve!!!!!!!!

Mr. Greenberg was hired to represent my teenage son in a criminal case. He was paid a retainer of $5000. He did not come to the hearing, which he told me beforehand, and told me who he was sending in his place. That person did not show up. Instead, 20 minutes late, a third lawyer came, who knew absolutely nothing about the case. Mr. Greenberg did not return a half-dozen or more calls, including those where I had left a message, over the next week. Approximately two weeks later, my son passed away. I contacted Mr. Greenberg within about 48 hours, and advised him of the situation. He told me he would set up a request for a bail refund, and said he would inform me of the date. After many unreturned phone calls, he finally told me he would be there on Tuesday, at 10AM. On that day, at 9:45, I arrived. At 10:30, marking Greenberg as 30 minutes late, the presiding judge asked me what my business was there that day. I told him. The judge was appalled, and he called for a recess, then sent the bailiff to speak to me about how to get a hold of Mr. Greenberg. After many calls to voicemail, and Mr. Greenberg's secretary, he finally showed up, over an hour late. He was dismissive of his actions, saying "look, look" and explaining away his lateness. After this truly miserable exchange, we discussed the amount to be refunded of his retainer. He concluded, much to my objection, that 50%, or $2500, was fair. He finally agreed to $2000. For a court case he NEVER appeared on. Where the ONLY interaction he EVER had was to request my son's bond back in the case of his DEATH. This interaction was disgraceful. He was essentially paid $2K for his 2 minute appearance, for a case he had done virtually nothing with. He had never even met his client, and he acted justified and self-righteous like I have never seen before. That's not to say he's a bad lawyer, maybe he's awesome. His moral compass, however, seems dramatically skewed. After this review was written, Mr. Greenberg elected to post privileged information about my son's case, his personal circumstances, and disingenuous information about his involvement prior to my son's death. Salt on an open wound, and in my opinion, very questionable ethics.
