About

Jeff graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management.  He earned his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago Illinois. Jeff left college before completing his undergraduate degree, spending 11 years in the restaurant business, working his way from bar back to General Manager and becoming the youngest General Manager in that restaurant company’s history.  Jeff specialized in turning around restaurants with problems, making them run more efficiently, improving the customer experience, and earning them record profits.Jeff’s life changed when he was selected to serve on a Special Grand Jury for 30 days, an experience that few people have enjoyed.  His experience on the Special Grand Jury inspired him to return to college to complete his undergraduate degree with an eye towards attending law school.  Jeff turned down a job offer to become a district manager for a major coffee company and oversee their growth throughout the Midwest to return to school.  After graduating from Columbia, Jeff spent three years working for a Fortune 500 technology company where he was a founding member of their Healthcare division.  Upon gaining acceptance to law school, Jeff left his lucrative career in sales to pursue his passion for the law.  While attending law school, Jeff won two CALI “Excellence for the Future” awards for earning the top grade in Federal Criminal Law and Real Estate Transactions.Jeff is devoted to serving his client’s needs.  He brings his years of real world experience to the firm and believes in treating the client the way he would want to be treated.  Jeff is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.  Additionally, Jeff is very active in the AVVO community, answering legal questions for people at no charge.  One of the things that differentiates him from other attorneys is his desire to ensure that every client understands their case, the underlying law, and the possible outcomes.  Jeff also plays guitar, drums, and trumpet, loves dogs, and lifts weights at least three times a week.

Jeff and the team at FFD are great lawyers, and are personable and accessible to their clients. I had a difficult arrest with a DUI charge and a situation where it would have been pretty easy to find me guilty. Jeff advised me every step of the way, from the day after through months of court scheduling issues, prosecution missteps and a revolving door of judges. We had a consistent strategy, and I was clear on what my options were at each stage and what the results of my decisions were likely to be. I found I could rely on Jeff's advice -- he said he thought I had an 80% chance of acquittal at the point we were preparing for trial, and that's what ended up happening. I also had peace of mind that I was well-represented at a time in my life when I needed that. This is a law firm I can rely on, and suggest it to you, too.

I received a DUI this year and am very grateful to have found Attorney Jeffrey Fagan and his team, as they helped make this experience as bearable and comfortable as I believe a terrible experience like this could have been. I was guided step-by-step through every part of the court process and given thorough answers to all of my questions. Jeffrey Fagan and his team were compassionate, understanding, always readily available and extremely helpful to me throughout my whole case. In the end I was assigned 10 hours of alcohol education classes and a victim impact panel to go to, with a license suspension of 6 months. Most importantly: being that this was my first offense and I blew relatively low (.09), I was given court supervision as a opposed to a conviction, which would have most likely meant the end of my career. All of my concerns were directly addressed and dealt with. I couldn't imagine a better outcome to my case (as I took the breathalyzer, admitted to the officer that I had drank, and did poorly on the field sobriety test) and I most certainly owe it to the guidance and assistance of Jeffrey Fagan and his team at Fagan, Fagan and Davis.

I had an issue with my driving record and after speaking with someone who did business with Jeffrey's law firm, I was convinced Jeffrey could assist me as well. During our initial meeting, Jeff outlined a game plan to resolve my situation. After review of my driving record, Jeff helped me execute on the initial game plan discussed and the overall outcome was finalized in my favor. He is a down to earth individual and a great asset to have on your side.

I had 2 traffic tickets to clear up. Heading in, I was a little anxious - but, Jeff laid out everything in a very professional manner and gave me a better understanding of potential outcomes with my tickets. More importantly, he met with me 20 minutes beforehand to go through all of the documentation and proceedings. Once we entered the court room, I knew I was in good hands - as Jeff took care of all of the details. Before I knew it, everything was cleared up - with the Judge issuing me supervision on a traffic violation. Good experience and great person to have in your corner!
