Cory Thein is/was a pleasure to work with. His fees are far lower than any attorney I have ever worked with (didn't even charge me when he worked to terminate my probation early), yet he is far more professional than some big name partners at various other law firms. When I have had other lawyers represent me, I will call the firm for an update and always get the same canned message from the secretary, "he's not in right now, can I have him call you back?" and it ends up being days before I get a call-back (usually not even from the attorney himself). Not so with Cory Thein. Most of the time I get transferred right over to him. On the rare occasion I cannot reach him, he calls back within a couple hours (usually sooner). Also, he doesn't treat you like "just another client". You can tell he genuinely cares about you from the first phone call. He updates you promptly every time there is any new information in the case. To sum things up, he is an affordable, knowledgable, friendly man who I would trust to represent me in any future cases.
I fortunately had the opportunity to meet Cory after I had dismissed my previous attorney. Quickly he took charge and made me feel secure and comfortable in the situation that I was in. Very professional in his job and very straight forward. He is an extremely reasonable man and gets to know you well. He explains procedures and possibilities so that you are not surprised. He did not let me down at all.
At first I felt comforted and supported by Cory in my impending divorce. Later realizations that major divorce issues were left unaccounted for in the actual divorce left me without a leg to stand on. He pushed for a default decree knowing that my ex was planning to show for court. This unethical practice allowed my ex to later overturn the divorce. This action cost me thousands of dollars and later the full custody of my children as well. I would not recommend Cory
