I had very poor representation at my initial divorce hearing over 20 years ago. I was given a "life time" settlement of $100,000 per year for life. No kids, nothing special after a 20+ year marriage. Just an uncontested divorce. Did not seem fair. I met with several attorneys over the years, but we were only able to reduce the alimony minimally. Like other reviewers, I can't praise Steve, his associate, and staff highly enough. He and his firm were recommended to me by my trial attorney to litigate the appeal of my divorce decision, because my trial attorney did not handle appellate work. What a godsend that referral was! Steve coordinated seamlessly with my previous attorney to learn the case record meticulously, prepare the appellate brief and papers, and brilliantly argue the appeal. He achieved a 100% win for me. During the course of the appeal, he also had to obtain an emergency injunction for me, over a Labor Day weekend, when my ex-husband egregiously violated the court's joint custody order.
