So far I've only had a phone consult with Mr. Swytak as I'm still deciding what to do and don't yet know the full scope of the coming issue with my ex. However, I will say that I've consulted with multiple lawyers and this one is the nicest I've talked to. He is a certified family law specialist, as you can see on his website, and he went to a better law school than most of the attorneys on here. I think that these are things people should note when choosing a family attorney. More importantly, I have heard horror stories of lawyers dragging things on and going way beyond their initial retainers, and doing it for issues that don't need to be dragged out. As a client you may not know that you are being taken advantage of. I can assure you that after talking to Swytak you will CLEARY see that he is not one of those attorneys. I worried that he was almost too nice, and I asked him about it, but he explained to me that judges don't want to see a bunch of angry overbearing figures in the court room. However, don't be mistaken, Swytak will not be pushed over in the courtroom either, but he will take a humble and respectful approach, which will likely be viewed as a breath of fresh air by the judge, and probably gain respect from the judge. I don't write reviews often, but I saw that Swytak didn't have a review on here yet I felt the need to let people know what I've discovered. I really can't believe he doesn't. Some attorneys have many reviews, but I think the attorneys push for people to write them so I don't know if I can fully trust those anyways. Anyway, I know that reading reviews can be helpful in this scary and frustrating process as I have been going through this myself and I try and use reviews to make choices. I want to pay it forward by writing this review, as I think Mr. Swytak is a good choice. Honest. Knowledgable. Straightforward!
