Stephen Ronca surpassed my expectations in handling my case. I always felt that he respected my concerns and gave very professional advice. I would highly recommend him and would hire Mr. Ronca again if needed .
Stephen Ronca was my attorney in a protracted personal injury lawsuit that ended with a very favorable verdict for me! I retained Mr. Ronca after I had been injured very badly in a industrial accident. I met with him and felt at ease from the beginning. He went out of his way to listen to what had happened to me, and then proceeded to fight for me. It was not an easy road to trial, for there were many obstacles along the way. The defendants would not accept responsibility for what they had done to me, and their attorneys were very nasty and condescending. Mr. Ronca took charge from the get go and went above and beyond what another attorney would do. I can't count the times during our three year ordeal together that Mr. Ronca traveled with me to examine evidence; defended me against attacked from the defendants; helped to control and correct situations that came up and caused me a lot of stress; and, comforted me when I was an emotional "basket case." When we finally ended up at a trial because the defendants' insurance would not settle for what we were asking, I could not have been more well-represented. Mr. Ronca was a pro in the courtroom. He was very well-prepared and presented my case to the jury in an intelligent and understandable way. The jury seemed to like him very much, understandably. And when the jury verdict came in I could not have been more pleased! The judgment was way beyond what I had hoped for. Thank you Stephen Ronca for your knowledge, patience, understanding, empathy, intelligence, and advice. I could not give a higher recommendation than I do for you. Since my trial I have referred clients to Mr. Ronca, and they have all been extremely pleased with my referral. It's hard to find an attorney you can trust. I am so glad I found a great one.
Don't know if any lawyer is really all that trustworthy or not but this guy knows the law and really helped us with our situation. We decided to trust him and I am happy I did take a chance because we had such a great outcome from this lawyer. I would recommend to anyone and would hire again if I needed a lawyer. He took our case from beginning to end. VERY PROFESSIONAL and VERY FAIR with strong ethics. Also, the kind of lawyer that really presents information well to a jury. I think that would be a good trial lawyer. It was a long road but it turned out good for us. Thank you.
After spending over 2 years working with this attorney on a wrongful death/elder abuse/elder neglect lawsuit in San Luis Obispo county, he filed a motion to withdraw from the case, one week prior to a jury trial. He was NOT prepared to go to trial like he told me he was. What he did is INEXCUSABLE. He took on the obligation several years ago of representing me, and he willfully abandoned his contract. He violated the Rules of Ethical Conduct and the Rules of Court, after filing a Motion to Withdraw from the case and then lying to the courts stating that I refused to substitute him out when he NEVER asked me to do that, nor did he ever provide me with a substitution of attorney. Lawyers are bound by certain ethical and professional obligations. He was NOT prepared or ready for a jury trial, so instead of accepting responsibility for his mistakes and blunders, he chose to blame his client; taking an easy way out and causing nothing but damage to my case. This has been one of the worst situations I've ever experienced in my life and has caused nothing but deep hurt and pain.
