We selected Mr. Yacobi to be our adoption attorney based on a fantastic phone conversation that we had with him before we hired him. He was warm, caring, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. We had had the opposite experience with another adoption attorney in our area. We met with Stephen in February of 2011, our portfolio was finished in May, and we were successfully matched at the beginning of June. Our experience could not have been better. We would recommend Stephen Yacobi to any birth mother or prospective adoptive person.

Stephen was very quick to respond to my phone calls or emails when I had questions about my adoption case. He took the time to listen and answer all of my questions. He clearly explained the process of adoption at each stage and how much things would cost. His receptionist, Janet, was also very knowledgable and able to answer many questions about what was happening. My only con with this experience is that Janet makes many clerical errors that required constant review and revision of documents. I think Stephen would benefit by hiring an additional receptionist and/or reviewing her work before presenting it to the clients.
