Ms. Pease goes above and beyond to ensure the best results possible. She has represented me on 2 different occasions and I could not be more satisfied.
I was a client of Stephanie’s for a few smaller charges, but she was so wonderful to work with. She took care of everything without me even having to set foot in the court room. If you want someone who not only cares about her work but cares about her clients, I highly recommend you going to her.
Ms. Pease is as very professional and knowledgeable attorney. I hired her for my divorce and child custody cases. She made sure my child and my needs were always first. She was always willing to work with my schedule to meet. I would highly recommend her for any law needs.
Before I get into my review of Ms.Stephanie Pease of the Mark T. Hurt law firm, let me just give a little background information. On Halloween night of 2017 while traveling down to TN, a state trooper of VA nabbed me at an alleged 105 in 70. A whopping 35 mph over the speed limit and considered a class one misdemeanor in VA. After arriving at my destination I did some research online for Bristol, VA lawyers and came across Mark T. Hurt. After contacting this firm and hiring them, I was told Ms. Stephanie would be handling my case. After having my court date I am extremely please with her actions as a lawyer and the outcome. Not only did she ask what sounded like all the right questions, the ones you would imagine hearing on a tv show like law and order as this was my first time in court. But she convinced the judge to take evidence that usually he wouldn’t accept, got my criminal charge knocked down to an traffic violation. I was able to walk away with a very small fine and avoid any type of incarceration, suspension, criminal history, and a whole lot of more points on my license. Thank you Stephanie!!!
Excellent communication and stays right on top of things. Currently appointed to my husband and keeps me up to date on regular basis. She has restored my faith in above and beyond legal representation for those behind the bars.
Mrs pease did an excellent job for me during my case . She started with the Commonwealth attorney being completely unwilling to work with is at all only charges . By the end of the day she made sure Justice was done and my case was handled with a happy ending . Thanks to Mrs pease and her team for all of there hard work and caring. Would highly recommend her in the state of Virginia.
My son, a NC resident, was arrested for DUI in Virginia with a 0.269 BAC. Not being from Virginia and with no one to ask for referrals, I felt like choosing an attorney was a shot in the dark. After reading many reviews, I hired Stephanie to handle my son's case. She had the case continued twice while he was in rehab and was in communication with the local DA and arresting officer. In the end, my son's charge was reduced to reckless driving with 6 months unsupervised probation and a fine, a much better outcome than I had ever hoped for. I believe her working relationship with local officials was largely responsible, and she was a great advocate for the steps my son had taken to handle his problem. Very grateful for finding Stephanie and would highly recommend her.
Stephanie is Awesome at what she does. She was unlike other firms when it came to communication. She was there for me the whole time. I was never in the dark when it came to anything with my case. She also got me a dismissal on a Reckless driving. I encourage anyone who wants a great attorney to reach out to her to get Fantastic service and Great results. Thank you so much Stephanie.
Stephanie represented me in a matter recently and was extremely professional in all aspects. She kept me informed at all times, and was genuinely caring during a difficult time.
I have been driving as part of my job for most of my life and over the course of my lifetime I have worked with a few traffic lawyers to keep my record in good standing. Working with this lawyer/office was by far the worst and a complete communications nightmare. After Stephanie lost my first trial which she said she couldn't understand. I called numerous times and finally I sent an email stating I would very much like to talk about my option to appeal and was shortly after notified my appeal had been FILED! I was told I needed to complete an 8 hr drivers course and appear in court which was 5-6 hrs from my home. She lost that trial as well and cost me hundreds of dollars in court costs, fees, travel that would have been avoided had she told me I would need to be present at trial because as much as I value my driving record I would have taken the conviction to save the 10-12 hr round trip, hotel and $80 traffic course. At the conclusion of the trial I told her of the communications issues I had and offered to send her an email to show her that I hadn't requested the appeal in the first place and she said she'd like a copy. I later sent her the following message: "I found a copy of the email we discussed what email address would you like me to forward it to?"; reply I received was "Yes , please. Thank you"

Thank you"

Thank you"
