About

Stephanie’s practice focuses on trusts, estates, business law and litigation relating to those areas of the law. She advises clients through the estate planning process and draws on her experience in estate and business law to prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, powers of attorneys, and premarital agreements as well as various business succession and asset protection documents. Stephanie also assists fiduciaries, such as executors, administrators and trustees, during their administration of estates and trusts. She represents fiduciaries, individually and in their representative capacities in probate and trust disputes, caveats, will and trust interpretations, estate audits and family-related settlements. She works with owners of closely-held businesses to create a succession plan for their business, and advises clients entering into marital relationships and prepares premarital agreements. Stephanie is a co-author of the North Carolina Estate Administration Manual published by the North Carolina Bar Association, and has published numerous legal articles on estate planning and administration.
