Sonia Ramon Alonso has returned to Greenberg, Stone & Urbano, where she started her legal career in 1998 and practiced with the Firm until 2003. Sonia has had the privilege of exclusively representing injured people, their families, and estates against insurance companies. She has limited her practice to personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, and medical malpractice claims.Sonia also has vast experience representing real estate developers, homeowners, renters, homeowner associations, condominium associations, and businesses against insurance companies that wrongfully delay or fail to pay insurance benefits for covered losses due to windstorm, fire, or other perils. Born and raised in South Florida, Sonia has firsthand knowledge of the devastating effects of the many hurricanes and tropical storms that have caused catastrophic damages to our homes, businesses and community throughout the years. As a result of these experiences, Sonia strives to make sure that fair and just compensation is paid to her clients for their insurance claims.Sonia earned her law degree with honors from the University of Miami School of Law in May, 1998. She was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Duke University in 1995, where she was an Editorial Board Member of Duke University’s official daily newspaper, The Chronicle.
