Lynn’s practice areas include elder law, estate planning and special needs, as well as litigation in these fields.  Most recently, she was the winner of the 2012 Kansas City Estate Planning Symposia Prize in Taxation for her paper entitled History Lessons from a So-Called “Death Tax”: Making the Case for the Federal Estate Tax.  She was the Articles and Symposia Editor for the UMKC Law Review for whom she also authored Family Broils and Private Terror: A Gender-Neutral, Psychologically-Based Approach to Domestic Violence and Asylum Law. She is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Missouri Bar Subcommittee on Digital Assets.With her legal expertise, a Master’s degree in Counseling from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, she is well equipped to assist people of all ages and life situations in her areas of practice.
