Christina L. Vega Fitch is an attorney at Kopka Pinkus Dolin. She concentrates her practice in workers’ compensation, civil litigation, and insurance defense. Christina represents employers, insurance companies, third party administrators, and corporations across Illinois and Indiana. Prior to joining KPD, Christina made her mark as a Chicago attorney practicing in workers’ compensation and insurance defense. She has extensive deposition and trial experience, handling all stages of litigation with tenacity and an eye for detail. Christina’s analytical and strategic skills allow her to be an effective risk manager for her clients. She assists employers in implementing best practices guidelines to reduce future liability. Christina also prepares employee handbooks, human resource policy documents, and has holds several training seminars for insurance adjusters and H.R. professionals to enable them to reduce and manage risk. Before entering the private practice, Christina served as a judicial extern for sixth judicial circuit judge The Honorable Jeffrey B. Ford. She also served as an Adjunct Instructor for her alma mater, the University of Illinois College of Law, teaching Introduction to U.S. Law. As a law student, Christina clerked for three summers at a large Indianapolis law firm, focusing on projects within the labor and employment law practice group. Christina earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign-Urbana, where she received honors in legal writing and utilized her writing talents both as a T.A. for the law school’s legal writing course and as an Associate Editor for one of its law journals. Christina received Bachelor’s degrees in English and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington, where she was a Hudson Scholar.
