Shawn opened his firm in 2008. He has extensive experience in handling a variety of estate matters and civil litigation. Shawn has appeared before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and numerous courts throughout the State. His prior legal experience also includes serving as an assistant state's attorney and litigation involving asbestos, lead paint, and motor vehicle accident cases.The most unique aspect of the Firm is that Shawn has served as a police officer for over 20 years. His prior experience includes working with the public school system, government relations with the Maryland state legislature, forfeiture/replevin litigation, and matters concerning the Maryland Public Information Act
