Shawn Lowrey worked to bring my complecated case to a successful close. His office was responsive to my calls and emails. I highly recommend Shawn, and would use him again.

I first met with Shawn Lowrey for potential representation in a very complicated, indeed life and death Conservatorship case involving the removal of my maternal uncle who suffered from late-state Alzheimer's Disease. My uncle was taken from his home and my care by a younger brother and moved into another state. The litigation would be complicated, and I knew that going in, because I did not go into that meeting unawares. I spent the vast majority of my career in the legal profession as a corporate defense litigation paralegal in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Mobile, Alabama. The views from the top were excellent, as were the attorneys I worked with, the creme' de la' creme' of prestigious law schools. The Lowrey firm, and Shawn Lowrey in particular, were highly recommended to me by a renowned Judge, the Senior Chancery Judge in the State of Mississippi. It did not take me long to realize that the young lawyer sitting across the conference table from me was indeed a 'go-getter,' an attorney whose representation would be stellar. More than a year passed before my uncle, by then dying, was rescued from his brother-abductor. Throughout the course of litigation in Mississippi, through Acts of Congress certifications, and Mr. Lowrey's direction of litigation in the State of Tennessee (against opposing counsel in both states whose jobs were to delay all proceedings, at all costs) - my respect and admiration for Mr. Lowrey grew, and grew large. He represented me as a zealous advocate, an ethical attorney whose first Statement for Services Rendered was FAR below what I expected. I never had a problem contacting him. He kept me constantly informed, on a daily basis. I never questioned a single charge on my monthly statements and, in fact, knew that he did not charge me for things other attorneys would have, as a matter of routine. I read a very misleading review of Shawn Lowrey on this website, and felt COMPELLED to 'correct the record.' In my thirty-plus years of legal experience, I learned many things, and this one stands out: When a client complains that an attorney filed something incorrectly, a red flag should go UP. When a client REQUESTS that something be filed in contested litigation? My advice to the attorney representing such a client would be to FIRE them, quickly. There are clients who know nothing about law who watch TV too much, have friends who tell them wild tales of impossible courtroom victories and who, as a consequence, are never happy with an outcome - primarily because the outcome they seek is impossible. Do not be misled, and by all means have no fear of misrepresentation. Shawn Lowrey is an uncommon attorney - ethical, trustworthy, highly intelligent, and committed to the best interests of his clients. As someone who has been on 'both sides' of litigation, I would match him against the best and brightest out there, sleep like a baby at night, and never look back.

I was incredibly blessed to find Shawn before embarking on a 2 1/2 year long divorce that included a bitter custody battle. When divorce became inevitable, an attorney friend of mine pointed me in the direction of Erik Lowrey. However, I ended up with Shawn, and there is not a day that goes by that I am not beyond grateful for that turn of events. I literally owe him everything. My daughter was the only thing that mattered to me, and I could not even begin to imagine being without her. Shawn and I journeyed together through motions, hearings, and trials. Yes, trials, plural. Shawn fought for my daughter and I rigorously throughout our heated first trial. He did so with such a passion, that I have no description for comparison. He won that trial for me, and my family and I commenced on celebrating. It would be only one month later that the judge's decision would be reversed, he would recuse himself, and I would learn that we would have to do a retrial. After having primary custody of my child for a month, she was pried from my arms. Shawn assured me he would do everything in his power to get her back, and he did. We regrouped. We came back stronger and ready to do it all again. Following a two day trial, our second judge ruled from the bench. My daughter would come home with me again. She has been with me over a year now. Every time I look at her, I am overcome with gratitude, and I know without a doubt that it was Shawn Lowrey that made that possible. He preformed miracles. He is unquestionably the most magnificent attorney, and one of the greatest people I have ever come to know.

Unfortunately Mr. Shawn Lowrey was unable to help with my case, yet did not inform me of this. I came in several times for scheduled appointments only to be told that he was unable to see me at the time and had to reschedule. Sadly doing business with Mr. Lowrey has been a very bad experience for me.

While being a client of this attorney I did not like the fact that he never returned my phone calls. I also felt he overcharged me for a service that was filed incorrectly when the request was plainly stated and understood. I was left to financially pay for his misfiling.
