The “ BROTHER” that got 20 years and no parole for 9 years KILLED Micheal Helppie by pinning him against a seawall with his vehicle until he killed him!!! 9 years is NOTHING compared to the life of another. He should be thankful he only got that and not life in prison. Some People pfttt!

When my back was up against the corner n no light ahead Shawna, was that hand that reached out n helped me out of that rott I was in I’m so thankful for shawnas work !!!

Our son got a speeding ticket, something like 72 in a 45. The size of the infraction was going to result in automatic suspension, filing SR-22, $500 fine, community service,etc.,etc. Shauna got the ticket down to minimal speeding. Well worth her fee.

I found Ms. Cahill to be professional, courteous, diligent, and knowledgeable in dealing with my case and she was able to increase the amount of visitation time with my son, which made me and my son extremely happy. In court, Ms. Cahill was always very calm, collected, and confident. In doing so, she was able to keep me prepared mentally and emotionally in dealing with my ex-husband, who was being extremely difficult. Ms. Cahill was very honest and upfront with me, filed court documents efficiently, and always communicated with me in a timely manner. Her fees were reasonable, I would highly recommend Ms. Cahill, and I would definitely use her to represent me again.

During court she didn't explain much of anything. To get a hold of her be prepared to call quite a bit. She comes off as rude an had a my way or the highway type of attitude. Literally corrects everything possible in the annoying way not the helpful way.. and honestly the review about the guy getting sentenced to 20 years is pretty spot on. Don't use her if you want a decent chance and someone that is truly there for you. Good Luck

Doesn't answer emails. Pushed around by other attorneys. In my experience I found her to be Irritable, unpleasant, and uncaring. She was my brother's public defender, presented an indifferent defense, and he ended up with the maximum, a 20 year sentence -- and 9 years before he can apply for parole. Once the trial was over, she was finished with us and (in my opinion) had no interest in happened to my brother. Would not help family or client to understand "next steps," or even tell us where to find copies of his legal documents. Did not return phone calls or answer emails. I wish my brother had a PD who was more interested in his case.

I hired Shauna to help with a custody matter. Unfortunately, the matter was not handled well. Evidence was ignored, and the case looked like opposing counsel wrote it. Was not pleased. Would not recommend. Biased was clear, even with a cut and dry case.
