Mr. LaFrance has been my attorney for 10 years now. I had a different lawyer through my divorce and I wish I could rewind and have hired Chris. Because of this bad divorce I had a lot of problems that needed fixing. Chris worked tirelessly to right the wrongs and gain me full custody of my children. Fathers rarely get a fair shake in family court and Chris represented me with a firm no nonsense professionalism that is rarely seen in attorneys today. No matter the cause Chris always responds promptly and professionally. He's never to busy to take my call or see me. I enjoy recommending Chris and know that if any issues arise, I have an AMAZING attorney at my back.

Chris and his wife Shannon worked tirelessly and professionally to help us gain custody of our autistic grandson. He never lost sight of the fact that this case was about the best possible placement for a child with special needs. He expertly presented the facts of the case and was able to attain the most positive outcome possible for my grandson. We are forever grateful to both Chris and his wife for the hard work and dedication they put forth for us. They are outstanding!

Chris is a tremendous lawyer who pays attention to detail and does not look at a client as just another file or a number. He completely understands that what he is doing is dealing with your life, and literally the most important things in your life, your children, possessions and finances. Chris goes above and beyond to make sure that the best result is obtained for you, and there is nothing more you can ask of your attorney. I consider Chris not only a great attorney to have on your side, but also a great friend! If you need legal help, Chris and his wife and legal partner Shannon are the only attorneys I would recommend. Trust me, you will not regret the decision!

Chris really came through for me when finishing the final marriage settlement agreement with my ex-spouse who, historically for several years, had not been keen on reasonable negotiation. As we minced out every syllable in the most complex parenting plan you could ever imagine in an all day long decathlon of legal bartering, Chris helped us calmly navigate through choppy waters to solutions when arguments would surface between my spouse's lawyer and I. I believe Chris was ethical (which was important to me - my mom’s an ethics attorney), but wasn't afraid to fight for my interests as a father (more time with my wonderful son) when I needed it. Chris was also quick and good with the numbers and isn’t afraid to get aggressive if the other party is being unreasonable, but he was understanding enough in my situation to step back in some situations and recognize that it was important to me that I have a healthy relationship with my son’s mother and not take her to the cleaners. Additionally Chris sympathetically laughed with me in my self-deprecating humor when I frequently compared my long painful divorce situation to Andy Dufresne escaping Shawshank Prison through a sewage pipe (from the movie Shawshank Redemption) and pondered the significance of my judge being the same one from the reality TV show “Pet Court”. I was happy to have him on my side going through such a difficult experience in my life and he made it easier for me. Most importantly, he got me the shared time I wanted to be with my wonderful son. :)

I've experienced attorneys in contract law, construction, estate planning, business and zoning law. I also had the pleasure of working with Chris LaFrance in a detailed, family law matter. Of all my experiences, Mr. LaFrance was the most considerate and detailed in return communication and honest legal direction that allowed me to make informed, intelligent decisions. Too many attorneys tell you want you want to hear. If you're I'm need of family law and want straight legal advice in a timely manner, give Mr. LaFrance a call.
