About
Since becoming an attorney in 2005, my life has been impacted by the family laws of this state. My marriage resulted in divorce, and my ex-husband and I share true joint custody of our daughter. I know, first-hand, the intricacies of these relationships and the effect that divorce can have on a family's emotional and financial well-being. So, while my desire to be an attorney grew out of academic lessons and idealistic ideas, my reason for practicing law – family law – is much more basic: I help people get through the "murky details" so that they can get to the "living life" part. After completing college at the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in business administration, I studied law at the University of Arkansas. Except for a stint at the Arkansas Securities Department, where I litigated securities fraud issues, and a short but educational foray into banking as a commercial lender, I have practiced family law.

I used Shannon as an attorney for an administrative appeals hearing during a ridiculous DHS and won. Love her. She saved me from the unfair tactics of DHS
Shannon helped my husband adopt my daughter. She was very professional and kind throughout the stressful time. I appreciated how much she cared for my family.
Shannon, for me, was a very attentive attorney. When I had questions regarding my divorce proceedings, if she couldn't take my call, she would return the call in a very timely manner. I feel like she took good care of me from filing to finalization. Highly recommended!
I can simply say that Shannon is without doubt the best attorney for me in my situation. I'm in a very hard and difficult Custody battle and Shannon not only gives me advice as an attorney but as a parent. In this kind of situation you can get very beaten up but Shannon informs you and let you know what the process is and make it clear to you what to expect. She will fight for you and stand up for you when you feel you can't for yourself. She will listen you and be there for you . I've already recommended Shannon to friends and will continue to. I will also reach out for her counsel an any other legal matter I find myself in. She has esteblished herself as my attorney and will be for life.
I hired Shannon this past fall to handle a child custody case....Going into the case I had no clue what to do, actions to take or even the process....I met with Shannon within the first hour I called and spent 2 hours discussing the case and more importantly what to expect, the process and timeframes...Shannon was very detailed and educated on it all...More importantly she was focused on my wants and what I could do.....As the case began, Shannon was always attentive to all my phone calls, texts or emails and was happy to answer the questions I had (which were a lot as I had no clue of the whole process).....I even contacted her on weekends and holidays to which Shannon responded promptly.....As the case moved forward I was always kept up to speed on all happenings and actions that were going on and Shannon was readily available for anything I needexd....The day of the trial I was nervous and not sure what to think but Shannon took control and made the whole thing easy to handle.....Child custody cases are very sensitive and very complexbut Shannon and the Robertson Law Firm helped make mine experience a positive one and helped walk me thru each step.......I recommend Shannon and this firm everyday of the week.
Shannon took over my divorce case after another attorney had started it (but never talked to me about its status). Shannon had a very short time to try to help and was able to make a difference in my case. She kept me informed of any changes/progress in my case. She is very knowledgeable and believes in doing the best she can to help her clients and their case. Definately would use her again, if the need arises and have recommended her to other family members and friends.
Shannon holloway took $1500 .00. From me to do a child custody case. After our first meeting when I wrote the check for her to take my case , ms holloway was never to be seen again. After many attempts to get her to return my money. I finally took her to small claims court. She didn't even show up for that. I now have a decision against her for $1605.00. For which she still hasn't paid. I hope my story keeps this from happening to someone else
My grandmother paid this woman to help me and my husband get our son back from the state. She was great for the first month. We paid her off, then she got her own firm. We didn't know until we went to her old office and were told by them. We saw her twice after that for staffings, and each time she ignored my requests and told me her advice was to leave my husband cause it would make her job easier. So she told me to lie to make it easier for her. When I told her no she quit working altogether. Would only talk to me at court, and even then never did anything but smooth out her outfit and type. She never answered emails or returned phone calls. When I told her to do her job she said my tone was innapropriate and that she is only there to give me advice not to defend me. She never gave me any information I needed, which I found out recently was making me look like a fool to the judge. Yesterday I went to court. Got there, and was told she wasn't coming. So I went and talked to the lawyer she sent in her place and found out, this hearing was the permanency plan hearing. They were going to adopt my son out to the foster parents. I didn't know. This blew the lawyer away. She ran around and got dhs and other lawyers together and told them the situation. So another lawyer came and talked to me. She went in and got the dhs attorney and the Dr on the case to come and talk to me as well. It took a pro Bono lawyer, a dhs attorney and the Dr to fill me in on everything I hadn't been told, and explain the predicament I was now in cause of her lousy job. If it hadn't been for these 4 women stepping up and helping me I would have lost my son yesterday. My husband is in training for the National Guard so he wasn't there. These women got the case postponed for 2 months, giving us time for my husband to get home and for us to get everything we need together and done. Shannon did absolutely nothing. Actually one person in court informed us that she just found out that Shannon was no longer practicing. But had taken a government job, I believe with DHS. And again, no one knew up until court started. I have been lost and clueless for a year now. I almost lost my son cause of her.
We hired her for a child custody battle when she was with an attorney group in Conway, Arkansas. I (the great grandmother ) paid her 4000.00 up front and another 4500.00 probably a month later. Less than a few weeks after the court date which was the next day after the original payment, we were told she opened her own office in Little Rock. We were not told this up front. She was great on the initial court but since has no showed for 2 court dates including the one today. The lawyer she asked to show for her was totally clueless because Shannon did not send her the case file as stated. We then found out she quit the case for a Dos case with no word to us leaving my granddaughter un-represented. She has not returned any calls or e-mails for at least 6 months. This has been going on for a year since last June. She is going to be charged with contempt of court and I am going to the Bar Association to try for a refund and possible disbarrment. . this is not a lawyer you want especially when you are fighting for your child
Acted like she was doing me a favor WHEN I could get hold of her. Showed no interest in meeting deadlines or actually doing any legal work until the morning we were due in court. More interested in her outfit than the case.
