Shaina Kovalsky never returns emails or phone calls. She often makes excuses to way she hasn't replied or touched bases with her clients. Shania is a weak lawyer. She isn't good at speaking on behave of her clients. She has sided with the opposing lawyers to avoid doing her job. When she is frustrated she has a hard time keeping herself together. She bullies her clients into settling after its made clear that's not what they want. She lies to her clients face then tells the judge something totally different. Seven months of my time was wasted using her has a lawyer. CPS was involved in this case and all the evidence was provided to her to win my case and she folded because she didn't want to do her job. She often said trial was pointless when my child was being mistreated, neglected and abused. I lost wages and now have to return to court with a new lawyer to do what she should have done. She didn't think about my child or his best interest. Toward the end it appeared her and the other lawyer may have had something going on between them. Both parties missed a court date due to miscommunication and she blamed the courts for her not contacting me. When I wouldn't agree what she and the opposing lawyer wanted she stood in court and lied. Since court she has not provided documentation she was suppose to draw up and email. I have called her for about a month now with no responses. She is not professional. She is horrible at her job and truly needs to rethink her career choice. Families are in danger if she is representing them. The importance of family is meaningless to her. She doesn't understand what it is to be a parent and she lacks the knowledge to represents parents.
