Mr. Malik's practice focuses on transactional tax matters with a special focus on the private equity industry. He has extensive experience in the planning and negotiation of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, complex financings and initial public offerings, as well as international taxation, real estate and REIT transactions. Mr. Malik also represents clients in complex tax controversy matters, including matters relating to offshore bank accounts, foreign bank account reporting requirements and similar matters.
