I had been with another firm for over 6 years. Although they got the job done ( until this past year), my previous lawyer didn’t seem to understand the degree of non-coparenting from the other side. Everything seemed to be “my fault” I hired Sevda late April 2020, she had quite a bite of “catching up” to do from the past years and has been able to get the job done and understand the dynamics better then my past lawyer. Much more comfortable in her care then I was my previous lawyer.

I totally agree with Avoid. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid, Avoid are the 4 words I would use

One word repeated multiple times: avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid. It is easier to just take money and burn it. In fact you might get better results.

I hired Ms Olmstead to assist in a divorce with my husband. Like the previous review states, she talks a good game but does not deliver. Without disclosing specifics, Sevda made my who case more complicated than it needed to be.... The damage from the legal advice she gave cost me and my ex irreparable damage to the point where we cant even have a basic discussion about our daughter. I would NOT RECOMMEND Sevda at all, in fact, I tell everyone how classless this attorney is....

Sevda represented me in my divorce. Initial meeting went well. However, as the course of the divorce went on and looking at the final conclusion of it all I found the following: On simple things, her response was good, but when it counted and I needed to react to opposing counsel's request, she was not there for me. She had her "paralegal" advise me, which turned out to be terrible advice. When it was time to go to court, compared to opposing council she was not adequately prepared. My ex-wife and I had equal amounts of evidence. Her attorney had everything in binders and tabbed. When I asked Sevda, where are our files of evidence, she just pointed to her head and said " its all up here"....BIG MISTAKE !! Her lack of attention to detail cost me more dollars and time eventually spend with my kids. I would not recommend her.
