I meet with Mr. Kurts recently to get some advice on a criminal case for a family member that lived out of North Carolina. I knew that no attorney in Raleigh, NC would normally want to waste time on a case that was from out of the state. I tried to meet with a few attorneys and offered to pay an hourly fee. I found him very knowledgeable, approachable, kind and honest. In the end I tried to pay him and he refused to take my money. The case is still unresolved but I thank him greatly for his sound advice.
