About
I was born and raised here in Lexington, KY. After graduating from Bryan Station High School, I went on to attend Brigham Young University (BYU) and majored in Spanish. While at BYU, I suspended my studies for two years to serve a church mission in Argentina. Serving in Argentina blessed me with fluency in Spanish and a desire to serve other people. After graduating from BYU, I attended the University of Kentucky College of Law.While attending Law School, I worked at the UK Legal Clinic, served on the Honor Council and participated in other student driven clubs to help serve the community. I graduated from the UK College of Law in May 2007 and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in October 2007.Since being admitted to practice law, my main focus has been on criminal defense, including traffic matters, DUI's, misdemeanors and felonies. Though my office is located in Lexington, KY, I have traveled and practiced in all surrounding Central Kentucky counties and several others throughout the state. If you have a case, we will travel! I was also admitted to practice in the U.S. Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky in January 2012. Outside of my legal practice, I am have been married for 14 years and have 6 children. We live in Scott County and are active in school, sports and scouting. We love Kentucky and are happy to live and work here.

Mr. Marcum was my fiancee attorney, and was a very good one. He never gave up and kept digging and digging for lil mess ups that the officer or others had falsely said about me and the crime they said I did. He was my attorney but he also helped me in figuring out what was gonna happen to me since me and my fiancee was codependent. I kno I was a pain in the vut sometimes but he didn't show it that I was bugging and helped me understand whatever it was I was confused about.
