I have over 24 years experience in helping clients navigate through complex divorce cases, custody cases, as well as parenting time issues and child support issues. I have taken hundreds of divorce cases to trial with highly successful results for my clients. I also assist with change of domicile motions, as well as spousal support or alimony modification motions. I also help families protect their assets from the devastating costs of nursing home care, including approval for medicaid. I assist clients in planning proactively with the appropriate estate planning, including special needs trusts, lady bird deeds, and irrevocable trusts. I represent clients in trust litigation, guardianships and conservatorships, as well as probate litigation. I became a member of the State Bar of Michigan in 1994 and the State Bar of Florida in 1995.

I am very impressed with how Mr. Cox handled my legal questions and concerns. He is not only knowledgeable but warm and personable. I never felt rushed or intimidated, as can sometimes happen with very bright and busy professionals. He gave me a full hour during which he listened carefully and then advised me. Cox was upfront & open from the start. He wisely knew how to both protect what was mine & also counsel when to draw the line on what was amicable. This guy knows his stuff, the "system" & the way to do business in an honest, no questions, fashion.
4 mos of billing excessively with 0 results . When questioned has a temper tantrum showing what a fat dumb asswipe he really is . Challenges me to a fight actually not realizing I hold a world ranking in Korean Tae Kwan Do . What an idiot
Not happy with how he treated me. Was mocked by opposing lawyer for incompetence. Very unhappy. I wish I had hired my opposing lawyer. This lawyer was more in my court than Sean ever was.
