Scott, did a great job. When he called me he seemed well prepared with information about previous actions taken by the SEC. We had a lengthy conversation that helped me to understand the aspects of my business idea that could lead to more scrutiny from the SEC. I'll definitely reach out to Scott in the future for legal advice.
Scott was extremely professional and easy to work with! He provided knowledge and advice to help us close on our new home and even went out of his way while out of the country on vacation to help us close early. Great experience and will definitely be using Scott again.
Scott did the closing for our new home. Made it very quick and easy. Very personable and answered any questions we had promptly.
Mr. Tippett helped with my closing out my mother's estate in the State of NC. We are located in NM. This complicated process was made very easy by Mr. Tippett's professional staff and attention to detail. I highly recommend Mr. Tippett's services. We would definitely utilize his services again, if needed..
Being from a different state than the lawyer I contacted, I was concerned with not visiting in person but rather communicating via email and phone. Scott Tippett replied very quickly and seemed very sincere and honest. After not knowing the correct answer to my questions, he researched and responded quickly and I am very pleased with his services. It is very early in my case but so far, he has proved that I made the correct decision on choosing him as my lawyer.
I have worked with Scott on a corporate level over the years, and recently became the go to guy on my own employment contract issue. He explains the law in layman's English... he lays out a plan and options... Scott is a straight up honest guy ... I would highly recommend him to friends and family.
I received a consultation from Mr. Tippett earlier this year. My deceased fathers home was set to be foreclosed right after his death. However the county served me with a civil summons wanting payment for taxes on the house and a $21,000 lien. This was despite the fact that I did not inherit the home, and I live out of state. I was happy with the consultation. Mr. Tippett suggested quit claiming the property so the county would go through with foreclosure and possibly stop coming after me. After the consultation I paid Mr. Tippett $175.00 for the quit claim paperwork to be filed. I never heard from Mr. Tippett again after I made the payment. That was in March. I never received confirmation that the paperwork had been started. After not being able to get in contact with Mr. Tippett for over a month; and a civil summons response deadline looming over my head, I requested that my money be refunded. That was last month and still radio silence. I don't think I will get my money back. $175.00 may not be much for some people, but I am low income. I do not not qualify for legal aide in my home state or in the state where my fathers home is. I have exhausted my resources, and options regarding my legal issue. I am disappointed with my experience with Mr. Tippett. If he was not going to provide the service I paid for he should not have taken my money.
Hired this attorney for an estate settlement in early 2014. He carried out the normal process and appeared to complete the necessary documents to settle the estate, and he was paid in full for this work. But he failed to deliver any of the documents to the court (per the clerk of court in Alamance County, NC) despite having been paid. This resulted in a series of threatening letters from the court demanding documents, and Mr. Tippett refused to respond to repeated voice mails and emails over several months until we were forced to file a grievence with the NC State Bar. This filing finally prompted him to communicate with the clerk of court, but the estate is still not settled over 2 years later. Highly recommend NOT using this attorney for any purpose ... he is not competent or trustworthy as an attorney.
