Took a long time with a lot of back and forth due to the court system. I used his services to fix problems with my already finalized divorce that I had a different attorney handle. I wish I had known of him back then. But, as an attorney he is very thorough and conscious to what your needs are. He was always there never cancelled and had the time after to make sure of my satisfaction. In the end I am very pleased and would use his services again and I recommend them to anyone who wants to get the job done right the first time. Hopefully next time I stay married though.
Scott Sinton is a very competent lawyer. He is what one needs in litigation – he is always prepared, willing to listen and able to assimilate information quickly. I am a father of a 10 year old daughter – and my wife took everything from me – Scott is working diligently to ensure the interest of the client (myself) and most importantly the welfare of the daughter is preserved Scott has a strong command of law and equally important what is important and morally just.
Scott Sinton is exceptional in knowledge and application of the law in his area of expertise. He has always been personable, respectful, sincere and patient in representing me. His representation is impeccable and flawless. He stayed on top of all matters related to my case, and because he listened so well to my situation, he showed his strengths in my case that might have be missed by another attorney who is impatient or fails to listen to me. I would recommend Scott Sinton to anyone who needs divorce/child support help. I know for sure if Scott takes your case, you can expect he will handle you and your case with the utmost professionalism, respect and integrity and do everything possible to achieve a favorable outcome.
I once left a scathing revew for Scott on Avvo however, I was very, very upset, and later changed the way I felt. However, when I went back to retract my review there was no place for doing so. I have written Avvo and asked them to remove it however, they never responded. Not only did I make a mistake when posting that review, I recently hired Scott again to work on another project. If I am unable to remove the review, I hope that this statement tempers my original document. In case you are wondering, the original is the worst one of the bunch.
He was not organized and not prepared for legal appearances. He did not prepare me in advance of court time regarding what to expect. He did not read or verse himself well with my case ahead of time.
Scott was very misleading. He gave a very false sense of hope early in my representation. He was not prepare and did not follow any particularly obvious strategy. He let the bills accumulate to no end. His lack of preparedness and organization as an attorney was surprising. I wish I could say otherwise but I would not recommend him to anyone.
We found Mr. Sinton to be evasive, unprepared, and ineffective. We saw little evidence of any effort and he did not want us in the courtroom during our hearing while he plead our case.
Scott was my first attorney for my child support case. His idea was to get as many cases possible and get through them with as little work as possible. He did not explain what was going on and agreed to things he shouldn't have. For example, he agreed to no discovery, which, after a little knowledge, you know that is unbelievable. When asked about it, he just said, "Oh it is one of those legal things." Even the judge questioned him about his decisions. I see him in court with other clients and I want to pull them aside and tell them to get another attorney! When I finally got smart and hired a different attorney, I discovered what a real attorney is supposed to do.
