Then he would bill me for the phone call, no matter how short it was and then on top of that charge send me a $112 dollar letter which said everything that we discussed in the phone call. He would do this with everyone he talked to on my case. I think these follow up letters ate up half the retainer. Six months into his representation, the whole retainer was gone and I was not even close to getting a divorce. I had to hire another attorney who said he could have done the entire matter with the original retainer and I probably would have gotten a refund. I did not feel like a client with Mr. Schwartz.
