Scott has been an amazing support going through my divorce. He gave me the legal confidence to stand up to my ex during a difficult custody battle. Please understand that he's the best you will get in the courtroom. This is the guy you want arguing in your behalf. He won't waste your time with irrelevant topics (which will inevitably be brought up by your ex). No nonsense. Transparent pricing. You won't find a more honest divorce attorney in the valley.
Post divorce I needed to file for legal decision-making and child support. I didn't want to go back to my previous divorce attorney as he didn't communicate well and I felt he overcharged for his services. A friend recommended Rowley Law Group. Scott and I sat down together for a free consultation. He guided me through the specific steps to get to trial, and assured me I had a strong case, so I decided to hire him. From the start, Scott was very helpful. If I ever had a question or had any anxiety about the upcoming hearings or trial, Scott was immediately available, telling me what to expect and assuring me he would be there to protect my interests. I also greatly appreciated that he went to bat for me against my ex. Anytime there was abusive behavior and/or my ex wasn't following the court order, Scott was quick to respond on my behalf in a direct, stern, but professional manner. He was knowledgable, experienced with the court, and ahead of schedule in submitting my petition and responses to the court. In the court trial, Scott was prudent and well organized; He gauged what would be important to the judge, condensed all the evidences into what was effective, efficiently used our time on the stand, and in making our closing argument. Afterwards, he gave me his assessment of how he thought the trial went i.e. what was effective, unusual or what might be good or bad for us. I appreciated his honest opinions. In the end, I was awarded what I asked for and then some thanks to Scott and his team. 10/10 would recommend
I hired Mr. Rowley shortly after my ex-wife took off with our children. I was very unfamiliar with the process of a divorce and child custody and felt very lost. From the moment I met with Scott, my worries disappeared. He made sure I was aware of what was happening at all times and his office kept in close contact with me to assure I knew what was happening every step of the way. Even though my ex-wife was fighting everything we were doing and attempting to make everything as difficult as possible, Mr. Rowley was able to fight for me to have 50/50 parenting time and joint legal decision making. I couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend him to anyone who is needing a lawyer who will fight for you.
Scott Rowley provided me with excellent legal services during my divorce. He set realistic expectations, and I couldn't have asked for a better result.
My rating would be a 4.5 as I believe client communication could be improved. Possibly because through experience Scott knows what's important and what isn't. Without hesitation I would say his courtroom skills are in the upper percentile and are very impressive.
Was seeking a divorce. Have never gone through this process before. When I met with Scot on a Friday I asked how quick I could get my husband served, he told me depending on how quick I get the paper work back he could be served by the end of the following week. I had the paper work back to his office and in his "staffs" hand between 12 and 1pm that very day. I called the next Friday as it had been a week and I hadn't heard anything and I was leaving out of on Oct 7th so I called. Was told that Scott had to look over the papers and that it would be the following week before he could be served. Called the following Friday to be told that , by Cheryl the "paralegal" that because I lived in Pinal county it would take longer. Scott KNEW I lived in Pinal county and NEVER said anything about this. I mentioned to Cheryl that saying I was frustrated was an understatement. Well I guess that triggered her and it was downhill from there. Scott had accused me of "harassing his staff". I called the office a total of 2 times. Scott proceeded to belittle and mock me with a few sarcastic remarks. I told him I NO longer wanted him to represent me and have gone elsewhere since. I have told the other office of who I had and they knew right away of the HORRIBLE person Scott is and his total disregard and lack of tact and compassion. Additionally I was notified via email that I needed to call the office and that my letter of release and the remaining balance of my retainer would be returned. Called the office and was told that there wasn't a check but that I would get a call back THAT afternoon. NEVER got a call back until the next day. Incompetency at its finest.
Mr. Rowley was the worst attorney I have ever heard of anyone being cursed with. All he did was show up in court and sit there with what seemed to be zero knowledge of my case. He never even asked for one single thing as disclosure from the opposing party, not even uniform interrogatories, which are easy because they're already written for you. Then, after he insisted one of court dates be over the phone instead of in person, he was supposed to file a motion to dismiss and DID NOT ANSWER MY EMAILS FOR OVER FIVE (5) MONTHS!!! Then he tells me, after he hasn't done the slightest for my case, including responding to my emails about filing the motion, he tells me that not only is my retainer that was fully funded at the day of the telephone conference, but I in fact owe him more than two thousand dollars on top of that! I responded by asking to see a breakdown of the hours and fees to see where this money had gone and what work I was paying for, and instead of sending me a detailed invoice, he filed a motion to be removed as my attorney citing that I owed him money. The next business day. He completely failed to zealously represent me.
