Mr. Redding has handled two cases for me so far. The first was a financial matter two years ago and the second was a custody issue this past year. My experience with him was that he was caring about my case and seemed very well informed and thorough in his preparation of documents and approach in the courtroom. Neither of the matters were a “win-lose” situation like a criminal trial but rather cases that required negotiated settlements. I originally went to him because I had a friend who worked at the courthouse and spoke highly of him. My understanding is that he is well known at the courthouse and fairly “well connected”. He did very well for me and I would definitely hire him again if the need arises.

He had 8 months to get ready for a custody case; only had time to meet with me for 15 minutes to review a week before trail (I called time and time again to set up meetings and provide him documents and info to help in case but never had time or never called back). He took everything I had and said he'd review and be ready for court but when time came he looked like a fool in the court room, even upseting the judge b/c it was clear he had NO clue what he was talking about. My ex had been prepared for court by her attorney and even knew what she'd be ask before it was ask...PREPARED!! I lost what should of been a clear win b/c of my attorney! He didn't even bring up my ex's criminal abusive drug using dwi boyfriend that lives in the house (which I had his criminal report for my attorney to show for proof but my attorney didn't even say a word of him?!?!?) I went to a different attorney who reviewed the case and said there was no reason why I shouldnt of won it was so one sided on who the better parent is if the case was presented right...i have yet to go back bc i'm still paying on the first case :( And to make it all worse, i had to wait on verdit and instead of my attorney being the one to tell me, it was my ex who said she knew for two days already when she told me! When I called and ask my attorney, he said he hadn't checked his box at the court house yet so he didn't know!
