I tried to work with 2 other law firms for our Church/501C rental agreement, but it wasn't successful. We were on a time sensitive schedule and one law firm kept on making empty promises each week until it was 2 months down the road without anything being done. They will tell us every week that they are reaching out to "other organizations with similar contract" and that was the response each time. When I reached out to Scott, he was very responsive. He immediately worked on our contract and also provided it on probono services without being asked. We are so Thankful to have worked with Scott and we will definitely consider using his services again.
I was going thru a hard time and got an eviction notice and Scott was truly my hero. He worked with them and I was able to continue living in my home and don't have an eviction on my record. I have a very busy job and after I hired him. I didn't really have to do anything. He was an amazing lawyer. I would recommend him to anybody.
I highly recommend Scott Hildebrandt. Scott saved me money (on all the many other lawyers we talked to). He also saved my house, my sanity and my pending marriage, in what was one of the most difficult times in my life. He has the highest integrity, knows his stuff and how and when to be tough or gentle, depending on what needs to be done. He did a great job for us. Thank you again Scott.
Our family took Scott's advice regarding a landlord tenant dispute. Unfortunately our demands were not entirely met. We then hired him to write a strongly worded letter. That was all it took to reverse the landlords opinion. We were pleased to find that they agreed to our demands entirely. We were prepared to explore all our legal options but it wasn't even necessary. Scott listened to what we needed. Created a plan for action. Implemented the plan, and got us the results we wanted, FAST.
We contacted Mr. Hildebrand regarding a Tenant/Landlord issue not relating to an eviction or deposit. Mr Hildebrand was extremely helpful in providing us details regarding our rights and responsibilities as tenants. We are very thankful for his advise and would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing these types of issues. if our situation escalates, we will definitely hire Mr. Hildebrand to represent us!
I received a past due notice from my landlord for fees dating back to 2015, and when I disputed the balance, my landlord served me with a 3-day notice. I was terrified. When I explained my problem to Scott during the initial consultation, he didn't make me feel pressured to hire him. He was very upfront about what the outcome could be. Once hired, he communicated with my landlord and their attorney and we were able to bring the issue to a favorable conclusion. I would definitely recommend him.
Scott was very helpful in answering my questions regarding a landlord/tenant issue. I had a general idea of my case but with Scott's help he confirmed what I had thought to be true. His knowledge is expansive and really knows his stuff in this area of law. I would highly recommend him.
First off, he never answers the phone. I gave him timeframe, during work hours, that I would be free for a phone call, and if he did call me it was always outside of that timeframe. He had our case for months...at first it was great! He was calling, he got a hold of the other persons law team, great. He got them to come up with an offer, and that was it. The offer did not work for my husband and I, and he never did anything else about it. He would call me once a month, leave me a voicemail stating he needed my decision, and because he never answered his phone, I called him back and left a voicemail GIVING him the information he needed! Eventually, his Secretary just kept calling me for the billing. I told her, several times, that I wanted scott to call me back for once before I paid, in which he did, and told me that he was going to start working on it again (mind you, almost 6 months of not touching it), and I have still yet to hear from him again. This was over a year ago. My husband and I were taken advantage of by someone who knew how to look appealing to low income families by allowing payment arrangements, and started off great by getting an offer, and never put in any legwork after to resolve the issue we had. I am since then hiring a different lawyer.
I hired Scott for a landlord/tenant issue, he was very helpful I. The beginning but then it stopped. I could never get a hold of him and when I did he gave me excuses on why he hasn't worked on my case and he kept losing my paperwork that he was supposed to send. So a year later I told him to send me all my originals back because I was tired of getting the run around it took him 4 months and I believe he only sent them because I told him if he didn't I was gonna call the bar on him. Very unprofessional in my opinion. If you want some good advice do not hire him. I will not recommend him to anyone
