Scott Douglass focuses his practice on litigating intellectual property and business disputes in state and federal district and appellate courts.  His practice also includes responding to Office actions from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office when trademark applications are refused.During law school, Scott clerked for two federal magistrate judges in Tennessee.  He also clerked in the General Counsel’s Office of one of the country’s largest tobacco companies.  Prior to law school, he worked as a legislative aide to two United States Senators in Washington, DC.  Additionally, he has studied Arabic in the Middle East.
