Almost two years ago I almost lost my 53 year old husband in a near fatal motorcycle crash. It was what you read about every day - an elderly man turned in front of him and my husband hit the passengers side of his car. While in the ICU with him, I realized right away that we needed a lawyer, as the at fault drivers insurance adjuster was showing up wanting to talk to us already. My husband wasn’t even aware yet of what had happened to him!! Thank God we found Sarah Raaymakers. Her and her legal assistant, Casey Wilson, came to his room and talked us through everything - telling us what we needed to do and what to expect. They were available anytime we needed them and kept us updated on a regular basis. When you are doing all you can to keep your husband alive, and then out of the wheelchair and walking again - the last thing you need to be worrying about is all the medical bills and auto insurance issues. They took ALL of this off my plate so that I could focus on his care - both physical and emotional. I honestly do not believe we would have gotten through all of this if we had hired any lawyer besides Sarah Raaymakers. She lets you know that you are her priority and she is going to work long and hard to take care of you. Sarah and Casey were a true blessing and we will be eternally grateful for all of their help. If you want a lawyer that truly cares about her clients - you cannot go wrong with hiring Sarah Raaymakers.
Sarah Barkley Raaymakers and her team are reliable, communicate well and get the job done as agreed upon and promised in a timely manner. I appreciate your dedication!
Sarah was personable, caring, thorough, and listened to my concerns. She touched base with me regularly, to share how the process was moving along. She also worked hard to get the amount that was desired. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again at any time.
Caring staff. Great negotiating. Excellent experience working with this awesome team.
Sarah was a beacon of hope during a very stressful situation. I was injured on the Job & had no clue where to turn next. Then I met Sarah, her calm and empathetic demeanor immediately gave me a sense of relief. She personifies a true professional. I would gladly recommend her to anyone
I retained Sarah to represent me in a car accident. I did not feel injured at the time. I immediately called Sarah’s firm based upon its reputation for handling such matters and was immediately put through to her. She addressed all my concerns. After speaking with her and went to the doctor and turns out I did have some injuries. She helped me navigate through the appropriate treatment options, helped me deal with the insurance companies and made it so convenient that I barely had to miss work. She was was quickly able to settle my case for the limits of the other driver’s policy, which was $25,000. I though it would drag on for years. Such a relief to have someone like Sarah out there to help people out when they are incidents like car accidents that could can forever alter the course of one’s life. Luckily mine was relatively minor, But Sarah still made it feel like a priority. I highly recommend her for anyone going through what I did.
My husband and I were in a serious car accident and had no idea where to begin or go for legal help, luckily we were referred to Sarah by my husband's mother. We made the appointment and saw Sarah soon after. She was wonderful, she met with us on our schedule and treated us like real individuals, she worked hard for us and got us more than we expected to get. The process was very quick and not drug out, which we were very happy about. Her paralegal Casey has been wonderful working with us as well. We have nothing but praises and recommendations, and we would definitely use her legal representation again if ever needed.
Sarah has guided my family and I through the marathon known as the application for Social Security Disability benefit's. After becoming disabled due to injuries sustained over a 32 year law enforcement career, my wife and I decided to make a claim for Social Security Disability benefits. Being neither of us had any knowledge of the criteria and process for disability benefits, we decided to consult an attorney. After some searching on the internet we found a firm that was rated highly in disability cases. We made an appointment. At that appointment we met with Sarah. She was knowledgeable, professional and personable. She explained the criteria to obtain disability benefits. She interviewed me and my medical records and informed us she believed I met the criteria for disability benefits. Sarah explained the process, pitfalls and the time involved in applying for benefits. After speaking with Sarah we were so impressed that we hired her as our Social Security Disability Attorney. We would find out around three years later how right and lucky we were to hire Sarah. After submitting my initial claim for disability, which all the paperwork and submission was handled by Sarah's office, I was denied. Sarah had beforehand advised me that the odds were against us and denial would be a likely outcome. After some time after my initial denial I was contacted by the Social Security Disability office who.advised me that my case would go to a review board to see if I met criteria again. Sarah and her office again handled the paperwork and submission. After some time I again was denied. Again Sarah advised us beforehand that the odds were against me and denial could be a likely outcome. Sarah knew the system and never promised I definitely would receive benefits but she was always hopeful. I could always count on her being hopeful but so appreciated that she was a straight shooter, I respected her for her honesty. After being denied twice for benefits all that was left was to file for a hearing, Sarah did just that. During the long times waiting for a hearing date and once getting the date waiting for it to come, I had many questions and some down periods where I questioned whether I would win the claim. I can tell you this, I texted (my injuries left me with a speech impediment) Sarah so many times that I lost count. Sarah would always text back promptly. She answered all my questions and at times bolstered my sagging spirit. She would tell me that she believed in my case when I had my doubts and was there to support me and my family. Once a hearing date was set Sarah obtained evidence for my case. She prepared me for the hearing being I was not familiar with the process. I was impressed by her knowledge of each ALJ. She even predicted a question my judge would ask me, guess what? The judge did ask me the exact question! Making a long three year story short I went to the hearing with Sarah and two months later I was approved for benefits. I found out from Sarah before we were notified! Sarah was everything you could want in a lawyer. She was always available for questions and happily answered each. I highly recommend this dedicated professional to anyone who is going through the maze of the Social Security Disability system. She will guide you through it and fight for you all the way. I can't say enough good things about Sarah because I have no negative experiences with her. Thank you, thank you Sarah. I can't get better but you've help my mind be put at ease by helping me give financial security to my family and I. I now have piece of mind.
I liked Sarah the first time we met. Sarah always explained everything to me and what was always involved as we went thru my process for 2 yrs. Sarah always had faith things would work out. When we met and I finally received a hearing date Sarah said no worries we got it. Low and Behold on August 22 we met at my hearing.Of course I was nervousand Sarah said to me relax and no worries. When it was done the Judge stated your Lawyer will give you my answer when you walk out of this room. We exited and Sarah said "you were just awarded full disability" I almost fell over. It would not have happened without her. Sarah worked diligently with me throughout my whole case. I highly recommend Sarah.
Sarah did a great job with my SSDI case. She always took the time to answer my questions and make sure that I understood everything. I would definitely recommend her for anyone who needs legal services.
