However, when I reached out to her with one question I had after the divorce was finalized and she was no longer representing me, I never even got the courtesy of a reply email or phone call back. The lack of a reply seemed unprofessional to me. Also, Sarah told me many times that I wouldn't' be charged for this call or that email, but that wasn't the case. Perhaps it is because of a lack of transparency, but I believe I paid for things that I was told I wouldn't have to. Lastly, she told me that we could negotiate the remaining $18,000 I owed, but later that day when my divorce was finalized, she just sent me a bill for $18,000. More follow through on things said, especially when it comes to billing, is needed.
