About
I have lived in NWA for almost 20 years and decided to become an attorney after studying psychology at the University of Arkansas. I understand and empathisize with families who might be experiencing a tough time with separation and divorce. By the time you are ready to seek an attorney, the situation is usually emotionally charged and can even involve other complex issues like property and debt disagreements and custody matters. I have experience in handling these sensitive issues and counseling my clients through the legal process. I have represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants in divorces, paternity suits, protection orders, visitation and custody and modifications. I also handle landlord tenant disputes, personal injury claims, adoptions, bankruptcy and civil matters such as collections and contract disputes. I spend my free time with my husband, my four children and our four dogs. We stay very busy with our kids playing sports, music and dance. We stay busy with our chruch and community group. I also have very strong convictions about rescuing animals and supporting rescue groups and local pounds and shelters. I have been a foster for the Springdale Animal Shelter.

She fought for me for 2yrs in a divorce/custody battle that went from joint custody to having to go back to court for full custody and contempt. She was there at every point and I'm so grateful. She cares and will fight for every possible thing she can. I would recommend her to anyone.
Sara was the Ad Litem on my custody case with my ex wife. Sara is one of those Unicorn lawyers that actually cares and isn't just in it for the money. I honestly believe that Sara genuinely care about all of her clients. She does seem incredibly fair as well. As the Ad Litem on the case she was there to represent my children. I believe she did that incredibly well. No, I did not always agree with her, and that's fine, she's not there for me, she's there for the kids. I could always see the reasoning behind her thoughts/actions, and she was being unbiased, fair, and followed the laws as she is required to do. I absolutely recommend her. She's amazing. Give her a shot and you will not be disappointed.
Awesome attorney Sara is and goes the extra mile for her clients from our experience with using her services. Totally recommend her!
I ended up being the every other weekend dad when I was divorced a few years ago. Joint custody was not favored then and I did not have the work hours to allow me to properly make drop off and pick ups for my child's school schedule. Years later, my hours at work are more flexible and I was remarried. Asked the EX for more time with my child and was refused. Called 4 lawyers. 2 said I didn't have a case, 1 said it was 300 dollars for a consult, the 4th one (Sara) said she thought she could help me. She filed for modification of custody, requesting joint custody. We ended up settling in mediation. While I did not get a joint custody title I did end up with a schedule that gave me more time with my kid, Almost 50% of the month spent with me, and no child support. In the end I got what I wanted, which was more shared time. For that I give Sara 5 stars. PRO: - Free consult - Took a case when everyone else said I didn't have a chance - Easy to communicate with - Reasonable rates. I was very pleased, if not surprised, by the end cost. MUCH lower than I had anticipated CON: - If I have to give a negative, it would be that some times she is a hard person to get a hold of. But with that said, when you go to her office and chat, just watch how much her phone blows up. She's a very busy person.
Sara took my case when it all seemed doomed, and she still took it because she believed in me when everyone else seen $$$, she seen the truth. I am forever grateful for her, and would not be where I am today, sitting at home with my children, full custody!!!!!....it took 3 years and a lot of sleepless nights, a lot of hard days of complete stress, but one thing you will find out about Sara Goodrum....she never gives in!!!!...she will be there to the end with you. Today was one of the Greatest Days of my life, when you go from being controlled and manipulated by your ex, to being set free and having your kids in a safe and loving environment !!!....Thank you and God Bless you and your practice !!!!!
Sara Goodrum is the best attorney I have ever found. She cares about her clients, and she really listened to me. She prepared me for everything that happened as my case progressed. I felt confident when I was on the witness stand. She won my case, & I was very happy with the outcome. She even handled all the little details after that. I would recommend her to anybody seeking a great lawyer. I will definitely hire her again for any future legal matters.
Sara has been amazing through what has been the worst time in my life. Supportive, straight forward, honest, and caring. She fights for her clients with grace and integrity, while still using the law to get the most for her clients. Before Sara I had no one standing up for me, threatened by my soon-to-be ex and lied about by his lawyer. With Sara in my corner things have turned around and I really feel I will survive this ordeal.
Sara is more than professional, she is very caring and understanding of your situation. She helped bring my grandson home when we were told by other lawyers we had no hope. She responded immediately when we had questions or issues.
Sara was very professional from beginning to end with her knowledge and advice. She was very willing to work with me and listen to my requests. She did not move forward with anything until the information was first ran thru me as her client. Her payments were very reasonable and worked with me to make sure i could afford what was necessary. Very personable and offered further advice if they day ever came when I would need such advice. I would recommend her for anyone who has family law needs.
Sara thoroughly prepared me for court, and brought ease to any anxieties with her confidence and knowledge of both the law and my case. In court, she aggressively fought for, and defended my case. Sara's representation made my court experience run smoother than I thought would be possible. I was very happy with my representation in court, and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone in need of an attorney.
