About
Sara Clendenin is a graduate of Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. During her time there Sara concentrated on Alternative Dispute Resolution, specifically negotiation and mediation. She was vice president of the Military Law Society, was a volunteer at local legal clinics, she took part in the school's Foreclosure Mediation Project, and was an active member of the Law and Leadership Institute, a statewide program providing high school students with a basic legal education and preparing them for yearly moot court and mock trial championships. Originally from Mason, Ohio, Sara received her undergraduate degree from Otterbein College (now Otterbein University) in Equine Science. Outside the classroom, Sara was a two year member of the Otterbein dressage team, competing against other midwestern college teams in the Intercollegiate Dressage Association. Sara is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, including U.S. District Courts in both the Eastern and Western Districts. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Real Property and Young Lawyers Division of the KYBA, and the Fayette County Bar Association. Outside the practice of law her interests include horseback riding, traveling, cooking, and fitness.
