I first came to Sandy on what I hoped was a straightforward evaluation of a separation agreement but ended up retaining her for a very complex and highly contentious child custody/relocation case. After I retained Sandy, I worried that her quiet, reserved demeanor would be no match for him and his bulldog attorney, both of whom were attempting to paint me as unstable. That calm, methodical approach ended up being a godsend to me. Sandy was realistic with me up-front about how profoundly difficult it is to win such relocation petitions and she talked with me several times over a few months to ascertain the risk and a strategy if I should pursue the case. Once I decided to take the risk, her patience with me and ability to help me sort through my thoughts and organize an approach that was efficient and logically sound made it possible for me to handle the profound emotional pain of the divorce and trust that I had done my best, whatever the outcome. Her advice was always sound, but she was also flexible and able to accommodate approaches that were important to me and make sure they became the right steps. She was kind to me and always appeared kind to my ex, but attack she did, catching him in lies and quietly outmaneuvering him and his attorney point by point, all with simple, unemotional questions and a gentle demeanor. She not only made me look reasonable by her manner but also helped model the calmness I needed to get through this terrible experience. Had I not won, I am certain she also would have been of great assistance in helping me formulate a plan to go on under difficult circumstances. She's a champ. Add to that—she is reasonably priced and never appears to be charging for more time than she needs to. I felt very cared for and with her, I never felt alone—a huge credit to her.
Ms. Norris has helped us many times and each time I walk away feeling more knowledgeable and empowered. Her guidance is always right on and takes us down the correct path. She constantly answers questions we have. I like that she wants her clients to be informed so that they know what steps they should or should not take. I highly recommend her.
I recently went through an uncontested divorce. Both my Ex and I wanted to avoid litigation. Sandy guided the process and made sure that everything was handled properly and on time. After 31 years of marriage, we had extensive assets including property to divide. She managed all legal requirements, filings, court hearings, and even gave specific recommendations when contentious issues arose. She helped us deal with issues that I had not even considered. In the end, neither my Ex or I spent one minute in a court room or in front of a judge. We both were very satisfied with the final results. We certainly could not have done this without her extensive knowledge of family law and her diligence as well. I strongly recommend Sandy Norris as a first rate professional and capable lawyer.
Sandy completed all paperwork for my Divoce back in April 2013. All paperwork was filed in January 2013, and my Divorce was finalized in April 2013. She is AMAZING!!!!! And I will use her again in a heartbeat if another future situation arises. She was quick to respond to emails and phone calls, and always kept me informed of the process. She always answered my questions as well, since this was my 1st Divorce, and 1st time going thru this process. I recommend her to everyone I know for their legal troubles because I have faith she won't disappoint. She was also very flexible with payment options and worked with me on the financial aspect of it. Most Attorney's I talked to were so greedy and arrogant I coudlnt' stand it. Sandy is the nicest sweetest person I know and she is an advocate for her Clients. She is AWESOME!!!!!!
DO NOT USE THIS "LAWYER" if you want to win. She was awful. I did most of the work myself. She should of paid me!! She completely lost my case! Lost to the point I owe the other guy money!!! She is "out of the office" A LOT! Takes her along time to get back in contact with you.And keeps needing more money... FOR WHAT?!? STEER CLEAR IF THIS SO CALLED LAWYER. she needs to go back to law school... Or find a different profession where she won't ruin peoples lives. The only good person in her "firm" of 2 people is her assistant. Whenever I would meet with her to go over my case.. I would answer her questions in detail and she would reply " I'm sorry I spaced out could you repeat that?" Red flag. She didn't listen to anything I said. And when I told her that I was done with the case and to withdrawal everything she kept pursuing to the point I was going to be sued by the other person for more legal fees. I will post to every site she is on. I posted on her Facebook and she deleted the page. Sorry bout it. But people need to be warned!
