I worked with Sam to address some challenging circumstances in updating a parenting agreement. He was an incredible legal resource, an excellent counselor, and provided reliably quality work in both document drafting and during court appearances. I've worked with other lawyers in the past on these matters and Sam is by far the best. Deeply thankful to have found him.
Sam is someone I would recommend to anyone needing legal advice. He was thorough, responsive and compassionate. Sam helped me understand the nuances of the law and my rights throughout my divorce case. He helped me think through how to apply my values to the choices in front of me without sacrificing what I was legally entitled to.
Sam represented me incredibly well in a contentious divorce. His approach was very matter-of-fact, and he also apprised me of nuances in the law which would impact the outcome of my case. He valued my input and tailored our approach accordingly. When the other side fought tough, Sam fought tougher. I would recommend Sam to anyone seeking personable, professional, valuable representation.
Full marks from me! My custody case was not a very difficult one, everything went smoothly and as expected. Sam is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Whenever I had a question it was easy to email him and get a response quickly. The firm that he works for is great and I was always made to feel my time was important and not wasted. Not having a difficult case I have no critiques to make, Sam was professional, knowledgeable, and straight-forward. I would be very happy to have Sam represent me again if the need ever arises. Thanks!
We were referred to Mr. Kuzma from the Modest Means program in Tillamook, Oregon. Mr. Kuzma agreed to take our case and went above and beyond board to assist me with a child custody trial even with hiring him at the last minute. Mr. Kuzma was up to speed on my case and did a remarkable job with a case that felt like a no win to me. I now have a schedule to see my son and with his help, I am able to work with his mother to see him. I would recommend Mr. Kuzma to anyone and I know they would come away from their trial a winner.
Sam completed all necessary paperwork and proceedings for my dissolution in a timely and professional manner. He was very sure to listen carefully to the details of my case, took pertinent notes, was very thorough, and got the job done. Consider Sam Kuzma if you want a good attorney, with an excellent firm (Gevurtz-Menashe).
I feel like Sam would be an excellent lawyer if he weren't tied to a firm that kept him incredibly busy. I like him as an individual, and he exudes a confidence that I think is important for a legal representative. Sadly, I was looking for someone who was more proactive. The approach he took towards my issue was somewhat lackluster. (Very "let's wait and see what the other party does" which was not something that I was comfortable with.) Generally speaking I think Sam has an excellent grasp of the law, especially for someone who hasn't been in practice long. For someone tied to such a big-name lawfirm his rates are incredibly reasonable, and he is very giving of his time.
