Keep yourself and your elders away from this attorney. I consulted with and reviewed case files of many probate attorneys before hiring a probate attorney. She billed legal fee rates for performing mundane tasks that could be performed by other service companies. Her case files indicated she isolated elders from their relatives and friends and billed the elder relentlessly for doing so. The conservatorship billings appeared questionable as well. If you have used her and she did this to you, I hope you filed a bar complaint. Stay away.
-Failure to supply court-mandated reporting -Failure to respond to multiple requests for information -Exorbitant fees assessed to estates well after duties should be discharged -Gruff rapport, at best, with clients I'm sure there is more that can't be said without the inference of accusations, but suffice to say I wouldn't trust her to dog sit, let alone manage thousands of dollars in the interest of a vulnerable individual.
I was disappointed in the attorney's responses and will not be hiring her. There has to be a certain chemistry between client and attorney and I felt as though this attorney lacked the ability to connect with me as a human being and thus, may have trouble connecting to a judge or jury. For young attorneys reading this, it's so important to have the ability to relate to other humans. In the legal profession no robots need apply.
