Ryan Hobbs joined BLBFG in November 2014. Recognized by the Florida Super Lawyers publication as a Rising Star in the category of Business Litigation in 2012, 2013, and 2014, Mr. Hobbs represents individuals and entities in litigated matters throughout the State of Florida.Mr. Hobbs has focused much of his practice in the area of labor and employment law and in this area represents both employees who have been discriminated against or wrongfully terminated, as well as employers who have been accused of discriminating against current or former employees. Mr. Hobbs has litigated hundreds of cases in both State and Federal Court involving all types of employment discrimination including race, gender / sexual harassment, disability, national origin, religion, retaliation, unpaid overtime, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.Mr. Hobbs received his Bachelor’s degree from the Florida State University in 2004, Summa Cum Laude, and earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2007. While in law school, Mr. Hobbs was a Dean’s Fellow, and also clerked at the North Carolina Court of Appeals for Judge James A. Wynn, who is now a federal appellate court judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Ryan did an excellent job for us . A large insurance company (confidentiality clause in settlement) did not to pay our claim after a fire , offered us nothing and then $5,000.00 at mediation and then a month Ryan achieved policy limits (six figures , again confidentiality clause) for us.
