Ryan was amazing helping me navigate a process which otherwise would have been extremely stressful. I am big on communication, clarity and responsiveness. Ryan excels in all of these areas and was also very good at helping those that did not choose law as their career understand all the laws and practices involved. Ryan did not judge nor give me the impression at any time that I was not his priority. He went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable and educated about all the choices that I had to make throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Ryan without hesitation if you are seeking legal counsel.

Ryan Gardner prepared a Will, Power of Attorney and an Advanced Directive for my wife and myself. We started with a consultation where Ryan explained in layman's terms what the process is and covers, differences of the Will vs. Trust and what would serve our situation the best. We wanted to have something in place so our daughter will be able to inherit our estate without a lot of difficulty. Ryan provided exactly that! we highly recommend Ryan.

We contacted Ryan to help us put together our wills and our advance directives for medical care. Ryan helped us navigate the fine details of estate laws and medical directive laws and patiently explained all of our options. He even dealt with issues of including and excluding certain family members from making decisions or being involved. We got exactly what we wanted out of our wills and directives. Ryan was very easy to work with and explained any details that were unclear.

This was my husbands and mine first Living Trust which means our knowledge in the process and in the documents was minimal. Ryan spent good amount of time with us explaining every step and about our options in great detail and in a way that we could understand. The experience was great and we will be back for any future items, if needed. We highly recommend Ryan and his staff.

I highly recommend Ryan. I was fortunate to have a consultation with Ryan regarding my divorce. Ryan was patient and thoughtful in (truly) listening and responding to my many questions regarding my divorce. I felt like I was talking to trusted friend, but with the legal expertise that allowed us to explore different scenarios and possible outcomes with my divorce. I've spoken to several layer regarding my divorce process, but this was the first time I left the conversation more knowledge and confident on my next steps.

I consulted with two estate attys in Salem before going with Ryan. I wanted to establish a trust (and other estate documents) that would not only provide for my children but would honor the terms of my prenuptial agreement should my husband and I were to ever divorce. The first atty I met with said that my husband and I needed to hire separate estate attys. The 2nd atty said that once I placed assets in the trust, they'd become communal and would be split 50/50 in case of a divorce. However, Ryan came up with a solution that provided for separation of assets per our pre-nup terms. Ryan is a skilled problem solver. He didn't simply use cookie cutter templates and call it a day. He worked to understand our goals and wishes and proposed workarounds. He is patient, understanding, and personable. I would highly recommend him for estate planning needs.

Ryan and his team were excellent navigating through an adjustment request to a custody/parenting agreement. Not only did we get what I wanted in the end but through the whole process I was well informed and any questions I had were answered. Would definitely use this team again for future needs should they arise.
